The #8 City for Healthy Pregnancies in 2005

Reno, Nevada is the eighth healthiest city for pregnancy according to BabyFit.com’s list of Top 100 Cities for Healthy Pregnancies.

Reno placed in the top ten for the categories of the smallest percentage of women with pregnancy related diabetes and the smallest percent of women with pregnancy related hypertension.

This is not the first time Reno has been honored. Among its numerous honors, in 2005 Reno was named third among the “50 Best Places to Live” by Men’s Journal. Additionally, the city was voted the friendliest city in the state of Nevada, according to a poll conducted by Nevada Magazine.
