Sioux Falls, South Dakota is the fourth healthiest city for pregnancy according to BabyFit.com’s list of Top 100 Cities for Healthy Pregnancies.
Sioux Falls placed in the top five for the category for “percentage of women in the optimal age range for a healthy pregnancy” and scored in the top 30 for two other healthy pregnancy indicators including average baby birth weight and women with the lowest levels of stress.
This is not the first time Sioux Falls has been honored. Among its numerous honors, in 2005 Sioux Falls was named “one of the 100 best communities for young people” by America's Promise Alliance. Additionally the city ranks first among medium sized cities as the best place for business and careers, according to this year’s survey in Forbes magazine. Last year, Sports Illustrated named Sioux Falls South Dakota's "Sportstown."
