HAILIPA - I do agree with you this website definitely have me thinking allot more about things this time. I wasn't like this with my first.

MANLEYNI - I was told when you start cleaning (nesting) towards the end then it's almost time. It's your way of getting prepared for the baby. I need to go home and do the same thing.

I have been feeling the same way. I actually posted this morning about all of the contractions that I have been having. They woke me up at 3:00 this morning and were every 5 minutes for about three hours! They weren't painful enough to be going into L&D though. I describe the way I am feeling as the way I feel when I have a heavy period....crampy, tired, nauseous, headaches, and just not feeling well. Today when I got up from my nap I had a huge energy burst and went through my entire house and cleaned top to bottom. I scrubbed everything, cleaned out the fridge, cleaned my carpets, and then just did some usual housework....hmmm maybe all of this means that we are almost there!!! :)

you guys catch things i don't even think about. i just took everything with a grain of salt the first 3 times and just let it happen when it happened. this site really makes people think more, worry more, concentrate on details more. i've learned so much from this site it's not even funny. ok, like i was thinking, i have been stuffy the last 3 days. but hey, just thought i was stuffy, and maybe i am. but these are things i just take for granted and figure it has nothing to do with pregnancy. weird. i am dialated 1-2 cm and 50% effaced, but nothing major yet

At appointment on Friday my doctor said I've dialated 1cm. I have my next appointment Thursday so I'll see if I've dialated more. It's good to know that I'm not the only one that feels this way. Were all close to our due dates so our bodies are definitely getting prepared for delivery.

I have been getting cramps too, and some major Braxton Hicks to the point that I have to just sit and take a deep breath to get my belly to relax, they don't hurt they are just uncomfortable. Just the other day I started to come down with what feels like a cold, conjested, headache, crampy, and very tired which of course is making me very irritable. Hopefully we can get things moving along soon I'm getting very impatient. But my husband says we have to wait until at least this weekend because then he'll be on vacation. I just say we'll see!!

I was wondering the same thing. The past couple of days I have been so grumpy and tired. I have to go back to sleep after I get up and fix DH breakfast. Then I usually take a nap in the afternoon, and it takes extreme effort to get dinner started. I have been having really uncomfortable contractions, too. I hope it means labor soon, but I have been having labor "signs" for a week now, and nothing, so I'm starting to take all the signs with a grain of salt.

I hope this is it for you ladies!

Yeah that's how I feel, really weird and I feel cramps too. I think were both close. I'm starting to get nervous, I hope this delivery is as easy as my first. Good Luck !!!

I have been wondering this too!

I was induced with DD so I know what labor is...but I have all these weird things going on that are not actually contractions: Monster cramps, feeling REALLY tired, etc.

I hope I am getting close!!!

Yes, I had some feelings similar to what you are describing. I also felt like I was coming down with a cold or flu, a little achy all over and more tired than usual. I guess it was my body's way of getting me to rest before my big day. I just felt weird all over. Anyhow, rest as much as you can. You'll need all your strength for what's ahead. Good luck to you!!

For the past couple days I haven't been feeling like myself. I've been having braxton hicks contractions everyday and they are getting more intense. And I also feel a tightening cramping feeling under my stomach. I didn't have any labor signs before I had my first child (7 years ago). I have a feeling I will have my baby soon. Did anyone else feel this way before they gave birth?
