alexis-wow! my theory confirmed! cool!

i have been noticed the "dog smell" alot, too. i told my family, before the baby comes, i would love it if my gift from someone would be to #1-clean my car and #2-clean my dogs! i hadn't thought about baby wipes. i have two short hair and one long hair, though...i'm not sure how well it would work on the long haired dog...it's a thought, though

Okay, let me warn you, you can not get rid of the "Boxer smell", I have a 2 yr old at home and my house smells like him, well only to me but thank god for that. Try baby wipes every morning to help cut the smell.

It's so hard right now with all the smells! I have a 6 month old Boxer and he is the sweetest thing but I gag every time I hug him now because of the "dog" smell. This is even after I give him a bath too. I feel so bad for him. I just try to hold my breath when I give him hugs now. :( It's hard when a smell didn't bother you before and now you almost lose it when you are around it.

STEPHANI-That's hilarious about the hair smelling. I notice that about people too and its gross. There is one guy at work who is really fashionable and apparently clean but I don't think he uses shampoo in his hair. It has a matted down look and he smells like greasy scalp...oooh...I'm making myself gag thinking about it!

Things that once smelled great now smell really bad and can make me want to vomit at the drop of a hat. Heaven forbid that I cook something that lingers in my house, its so overwhelming that I can't sleep.

MUSCMAKER -My doc told me that my metallic taste was from prenatal vitamins! O...my sense of smell is so delicate, never thought about my poor doggies smelling all those smells!

I told my dh last night, I am feeling sorry for our dogs-the smells in our house overwhelm me so often-and I know it must be worse for them! I haven't had "the taste" yet...it seems like maybe the metallic taste might come from the increased minerals, iron, etc. in our prenatal vitamins...just a theory, though.

I just noticed the past 2 days I have a bad taste in my mouth and I was wondering if it could be related to my pregnancy. So weird!

how funny! about stuff around you, i have always loved my dh's foo foo products (he has the whole line-shower gel, deodorant, body spray), but lately the smell of it is SOOO overwhelming to me! i couldn't tell if i felt like puking or passing out this morning when he put the spray on!

It sounds like a smell thing to me. i wanted to say that it IS a common pregnancy symptom to have a metallic taste in your mouth, which also may explain this. Also, pregnant women often tend o be more congested than usual, so it may be sinus drainage. If friends say you are good, i would nt worry too much about it.
The smell thing can be irritating, the other day the combination of my perfume and husband's banana made me want to spritz one down and gobble it up!

I love the smell of baby vomit in the morning!

OK. This is gross so queasies beware...

I constantly feel like I have a bad taste in my mouth and sort of like I can smell my own breath. I've never had a bad breath problem and I swear I brush/floss and rinse diligently. My husband says he can't smell my breath and my friend told me (to my face so whe would have smelled me if i were bad) that it was just my sense of smell being more sensitive. But I'm paranoid!

Anyone else having a similar issue? Should I just brush my teeth contantly? It doesn't seem to help anyway.
