I'm not sure if this'll help...as you've noticed it takes a while for orders to come in some times when AAFES does the ordering...but they can usually call other bases to see if they have them in stock, and if they do they could have it sent to them from there and it won't take nearly as long. They might be reluctant to call for you, so I'd suggest calling the clothing stores at the bases close to you and ask then. Then if any of them do have them in, you can go to your clothing store and tell them that you know such-and-such base has them. I'm in the Air Force and an Army female that I saw at the gym all the time was about 2 months furthar than me told me about that when I was having trouble finding maternity BDUs (the Air Force maternity ABUs hadn't been released yet). Either way Texas has a lot of military bases so I'm sure atleast one in the state has the size you'd need. The base I'm at has a lot of Army at it since it's a training base and they have more maternity ACUs than they do maternity BDUs and ABUs combined...Well I gotta run, hope this helps.

I am having a problem in this same area. I have been looking everywhere for a 6R maternity ACU top. CIF finally gave me a 6L but it seems too long and I don't want to look tacky. We are at Ft Hood, and I thought since it is so big they were bound to sell them. I ordered some from clothing and sales and the lady said like a month or something. I have been rigging the top two buttons on my pants. Does anyone out there have a 6R or know where I can order one or two??

I just received an email back from AAFES on-line store. They will add the maternity ACUs to their website for on-line ordering as soon as they get all the sizes in stock. So check back with www.aafes.com in a few weeks.

I ordered mine from DLA also b/c I was tired of waiting for the CIF to finally get them in!
One piece of advice though... know your EXACT size before you order them b/c you CAN NOT return them... we've got a soldier in my unit who didn't get her size right and now she's got a maternity uniform she could never wear.
The sizing is the same as the camouflage maternity uniform...

I've been told that officers have to purchase maternity ACUs on their own. Is this correct? Since I currently can't seem to get them through my supply, I am still looking for a place to purchase them. Has anyone found a place?

Hello Ladies, Please forgive the intrusion by a daddy. To all of you, Congratultions. I wanted to help you with the Maternity ACU information. I am the Chief of Supply for the Army Reserve and ran across your thread during a google search. First, Active Duty Soldiers should get their Maternity uniforms from the CIF. Army Reserve soldiers get them from their supply room (they will have to be ordered). As for the tan boot with the BDU, by Army policy, it is authorized. It is not necessary for you to purchase the uniforms.
As for sizing, not a clue.
If you are Army Reserve and your command has a question, most likely your RRC/Div G-4 knows me. Have them give me a call.

hey every one how are you ladies doing- to respond to what a lot of you guys said yes the maternity ACUs are a little expensive. Im stationed at bragg and i got issued the BDUs. but im pretty comfortble i didnt need to switch till i was about 51/2 months preg. And yes Lakerchik i know what you mean about the jump boots, they can be expensive, but you should try and get a tennis shoe profile from your doctor then you wont have to worry about the boots. Ive been wearing tennis shoes since about 6 months good luck!!

I had my supply sergeant order them from DLA - most sizes are in stock. It took a memo signed by my commander, but that might have just been to cover my supply sgt to justify the expense. They are not expensive - just not free either. Here is the phone number to give to your supply: DSN 661-7766 or 1-877-352-2255, then option 3, then option 1.
Here are the NSNs for the different sizes - sorry it is a long list. Mine haven't come in yet, so I am in MBDUs, but if these sizes are anything like the MBDU sizes, get them BIG! Perhaps the lucky ladies from Bragg can attest to the sizes.

If you're still looking for black boots, I just got a brand new set. They're 5W if you're interested. I wear acu's now so will never need them.

Alright, for those of you that wanted to know when I found out, the maternity ACU's can be purchased through your clothing and sales store. If they tell you that they dont have them, let them know THEY CAN ORDER THEM! The uniforms are availible, most people just don't know yet.

You start wearing the maternity uniform when you can no longer wear the regular uniform properly. If it's uncomfortable, then switch, but if you want to stay in your uniform till you no longer can, they can't say anything about it unless your appearance is raggedy. Like your top isn't long enough to cover your belly, or the top/bottoms are really tight.

I already posted here but on Ft. Bragg, you get issued maternity uniforms and there isn't any place that you can go and buy them. Maybe General Jackson's but other than that as far as I know if you're on Bragg, you're getting them issued. As for me, I HAD to start wearing my uniform I was showing at 13 weeks, and da uniform da damn tight................

It is based on your command. Our battalion does not allowed it. It's like wearing parts of your PT uniform with civilian clothes and such. It is a command decision. Unfortunately my command says no to tan boots and bdu's. So unless they plan on issuing me new black boots, or giving me an allowance, I'm staying in my regular ACU's, rubber bands and all. lol My commander doesn't mind which is the great part about it. She knows how much I hate the maternity uniform.

I thought they allowed you to wear bdu's and tan boot? Whe I was at Hunter AAF, they allowed us to wear tan boots and bdu's.

I am wanting to buy maternity ACUs because I cannot get back into my black boots and we are not allowed to wear tan with the BDUs. So, if ANYONE knows where I can buy them (website, ect.) PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me know. Ft. Stewart, Ga does not issue them, just the BDU so I'm kinda screwed! Thanks
