All I've got to say is Im sorry Im already back in a 3/4 114 lbs. yall really should try yoga and walking or running is great also I only eat a couple of servings of meat a week. I just eat LOTS of veggies total 100 cal. Cereal and penutbutter on whole wheat. Oh and I found that trying not to sit down is about the best thing you can do and pretty much ony drink vit. HI Becky,
Keep walking until you feel better! Just add a little at a time. Because we are heavier than we should be, we can burn extra calories just by carrying the extra weight and exercising!
I am also having a hard time losing the rest of my preg. weight, but walking will definitely
help.
Also, try using the food tracker. If you force yourself to enter every bit of food that you eat, you will think twice before you put it in your mouth!
Take care,
Deb

YAY! I did it! 26.2 miles and I can't wait to do my next marathon! But first I'm working on being able to walk again!

I am having the worst time losing my pregnancy weight. I gained about 80lbs during pregnancy and I have lost about 23lbs since my baby was born. I need to at least get down to a size 14 by August and I am a size 20 right now. I am getting married on August 12,2006 and would really like to be a little bit smaller. I used to jog before I got pregnant and now I get out of breath walking. Does anyone have any ideas? I have tried the Atkins diet and all I got was a headache.

gina-eventually the dark line will fade & about the bellybutton, mine stuck compeltely out w/both of my girls. you could see it sticking out of my shirt. everyone made fun of it. but yes it will be normal again. mine still isn't quite back to normal yet. it just takes time. i have 30lbs to lose & i am at a stand still too. i just need to get my butt into gear & excercise. first i have to find time.

Ok, the weight has come to a permanent stand still. I have not lost a pound in about a month. All I need to take off is aanother 10 stinkin lbs. I must admit, I just started to exercise last week, but geeesh! I'm 8 weeks post partum and still soooo sore down there, I can't really do much. Will this dark line down my belly ever go away? And will my belly button ever look normal again?

I had a 7 lb. 11 oz baby and was on a liquid diet for 2 days and only managed to be down 6 lbs when I left the hospital. *sigh* I'm down to 6 lbs left to lose to be pp weight but my poor belly has no muscle left what so ever.

It's kind of a rush to see the weight come off, aint it? If only I had some sort of muscle under the chub. I can't even do one full sit up. And I was in good shape before, and stayed pretty active during my pregnancy. Oh well, it all worth it.

Gina - That's great about your weight loss. I hope that at least some of my weight comes off that quickly!! Good luck getting to the weight you want. Oh, and eventually that "rocket" feeling will go away - hang in there on that one!

Wow, I was shocked at how much weight comes off after delivery. When I got home from the hospital I only lost 8 lbs. But here I am 11 days later and I have lost 32 lbs!! I gained about 50 lbs total and was really concerend about losing the weight, but now I feel like I will be fine. Just wanted to let those of you who are worried too, to know how it is going so far. I still feel like a rocket shot out my vagina,(lots of stitches) but it's nice to be lighter!
