I love Pampers Swaddlers and Cruisers. I've never noticed a smell to them, even when my son (whose now 22 months) fills them up. I've tried other brands, and none of them fit him as well as the Swaddlers and Cruisers have. Pampers Baby Dry do not even fit right. Huggies did not work at all. He would leak within an hour every time. However, I love Huggies wipes because they are the thickest, softest, and most moist out of all the wipes I've tried.

I've actually foud that the seventh generation ones work really well. They do run a little big.

Not sure about those brands, but we did use Pampers because people bought us a bunch. I did like them at first but agree they smell...did not know it was due to a lot of chemicals, good to know! Anyway, we started buying "parents choice" from Wal-Mart. It's the generic brand for Wal-Mart. We actually buy everything now in that brand; it is 1/2 the price.....and the diapers don't smell :-) They fit Matt really well, and the tabs are stretchy which I love too!

It's funny that you type that because I was going to start my own post...
I used to say that my baby smelled like chicken soup when she pee'd because she did stink really bad - it made me sick sometimes. Then, I didn't notice that the smell went away, it just kind of did. However it's back!!! I think it has to do with the diapers I'm using. For a long time, I've been using Target brand (which are cheaper and work just as well as name brand). Anywho, last week, I ran out of diapers and couldn't get to a Target so I bough Pampers and the chicken soup smell is back! I can't wait to get to Target to buy her some more diapers...

I personally do not like papmpers, I think they smell like urine, even before baby...YUK.

Just to start the process, I bought pampers swaddlers, but at 2 weeks old, he often pees out the back of the diaper, through his onesies, gown, and receiving blanket. What do I do?? Different brand or diaper liners?

All I know is that Seventh Generation is an all natural product and we use their toilet paper. They would be the best choice I guess for the least chemicals. I really like the Huggies because of the really stretchy tabs. I also use the Huggies natural care wipes. I've tried all breands of wipes..parent's choice, huggies, pampers, etc. my favorite is the huggies. I also like pampersdiapers too. I have never had one leak with the pampers. I use the walmart brand during the day and use either pampers or huggies at night to save money.

I'm trying to find a diaper with less chemicals but I don't want to deal with cloth. Anyone have any information on the differences between Seventh Generation diapes vs. Huggies Natural, or Tushies or Natural Boy/Girl?
