I am 30 weeks (31 on Monday) and my tummy is basically hard all the time. It gets really really hard after I eat and you can see my belly button through my shirts! LOL...I guess I started to get really hard around 26-27 weeks.

First baby born on September 16, 2005 @ 2:43 PM. Had her c-section, she was breech. She was 6lbs. 5 ounces and 19 inches long.

My stomach got hard inthe 3rd trimester...but it turened into a rock when I had my braxton hicks contractions. It actually hurt if I would touch it with a little pressure.

Most of the time now (38 weeks) my stomach is hard. Sometimes he goes down farther and my stomach is softer.

I am in my 21st week and have found that I have "hard times"
When I am standing I find that it is harder than when I sit.
Really, it seems to depend on what the baby is doing.
I have hard spots and then they disappear and will turn up in another spot.

I didn't have the firmest abs pre pregnancy anyway!!

Nothing tastes as good as being healthy feels.

at 10 weeks your uterus is barely bigger than a its not even above your pelvis yet....If you feel just above your pubic line you will feel a hard 'ball' but the rest of your tummy will be as squishy or firm as it was pre-preggo

At about 20 weeks the top of you r uterus is even with your belly button

It must take a while because I am 21 weeks and my belly is not hard while I am standing. I can feel a huge difference when I lay on my back however.
