I used Huggies with all of my children. They were the best fitting, and had no leaks.

My youngest weaned at 31 months. (I was pregnant, so didn't mind. But when I lost the baby, I was really upset.) I homeschool, use natural products, cosleep, cloth diapers, wear my baby, attachment parent, don't vaccinate, and love God, my husband of over 19 years, and my kids!

I nannied for 2 kids that were both in Huggies. I though they were great (no leaks, etc.) so that's what I bought for DS. Well, he kept getting a really bad diaper rash (it was really red and it would bleed!) and we were going through tubes and tubes of diaper rash cream. Well, I had one pack of Pampers and when it came time to use it his diaper rash completely cleared up and he hasn't had one since. I think that Pampers either holds more urine or it absorbs faster. The only thing is that Pampers baby-dry aren't as stretch as Huggies baby-shaped diapers.

I've always used the generic Walmart brand (I think it's called Parent's Choice), and they worked great for me. One thing I found with DD is that once I picked a brand I couldn't switch to other brands cause she'd get a rash.

I like Pampers best. THey were the only ones that didn't leak or break along the leg seams when my kid got really active.

I did not like Huggies at all. They leaked all of the time. I use Pampers Swaddlers for the first few months and then I switch to Luvs. Both have been great for my kids.

I love Pampers! I just clip coupons and look for sales to save the extra money!

I use the cheap brand at walmart, they work just as well for me as any other brand. i know I really dont like luvs, they always leaked, but the others are the same as the walmart brand.

Sarah forgot to mention that Swaddlers also smell like baby powder. So, you can tell at a quick sniff if a change is called for. I love Swaddlers too. Baby-dry sucked for us, though. Just goes to show that even in the same brand there can be a difference.

I haven't tried Luvs yet. But I have used Huggies and Pampers Swaddlers.

I like the Huggies, for the most part, but there is a point where one size is too small and the next size is too big -- like the 12-16 lbs range.

On the other hand, I LOVE the Swaddlers. They are the best. No leakage, they keep everything inside. They are softer. And the designs are more vivid...though only Will, DH and I see them. LOL.

But you are going to have to try them out yourself and see what works best for your little girl. Every baby is different, it seems so each has one that works better for them.

All you can do is try them and see if they work, every baby is shaped differently and weighs differently and pees more or less than others, so it's really just trial and error.
