WOW! I will be hunting you down on the boards for inspiration to lose weight come November!

And as far as losing the jelly belly - there are plenty of exercises that can assist in that area - and a visit with a doctor may also provide insight into whether exercise alone can do the full job or not.

I have the squishy underbelly, too, from past lost weight. I found that I can cradle my belly and hide that! For the first time I have what I can fake as a mommy belly!

And it is nice to not be getting new stretch marks! they hurt so much as they 'rip'

Congratulations on the weight loss. I also agree with all of the previous posters, that I'd take the pictures anyways, even just to keep as a memento for myself. You deserve it, you've got a little one in there.

I'm with Amy. You're growing a life in there. And, I can tell you from experience.....take the pictures! If you don't you will regret it, and it's not something you can go back and do! You do not have to share them with anyone, just take them ans stash them away for you to have. trust me, you'll love looking back, no matter how you feel right this moment. I have a hard belly and I hate the fact that all my stretch marks show up silvery when the flash hits them....but I still take my pics.

First off, congratulations on losing all that weight. That was a remarkable accompolishment and you should be very proud of yourself for having done it.

I think, no matter what our size, we all have hang ups about it. I was walking this morning and caught a glimpse of my shadow and thought "holy cow look at how big your butt and thighs are." I wish I had the cute pregnancy look with the adorable little belly that some women seem to get, but no, I get a belly, butt and thighs. When I gain weight, that's where it goes. I wish I could say I've only gained the "proper" amount of weight, but I'm sure by the end I'll be over my desired weight. The fact that I baked a cake on Sunday sure isn't helping much!

Be proud of what you look like, even if it's not everything you had hoped for. I look at your picture and see a beautiful, pregnant mom-to-be!!!

I think that no matter what your belly looks like you should feel beautiful and take some pictures without your shirt. You're carrying a life in there, no matter how much extra skin there is, it's still amazing and something you want to remember! And congratulations to you on such a major and life altering accomplishment as losing that much weight. Good for you!

Prior to getting pregnant I had lost a significant amount of weight. Five years ago I was 2 lbs shy of 300 lbs and I lost at my maximum loss 163 lbs and it took me about 22 months to lose it. By the time I got pregnant I put back on a little bit more weight because everyone was telling me I was too thin and I weight about 154 or so.

Now that i'm pregnant my belly is different then others. My sister said that at 29 weeks her belly was hard and when she touches mine it's soft. I know that it is because of my prior weight and I had a lot of left over to work with. But now I have noticed that I don't have a full round belly. I have some what of an equator in the middle of my belly and my belly button is the equator. The top half of my belly is a little bit harder and rounder than the bottom half and the bottom half, well I don't think i'll ever grow into that and it will always feel like just fat and not baby belly to me.

I wish that I wasn't so soft and squishy with my belly and I had a nice firm belly. My doctors know about my past and I was overweight years ago and even made a joke about well I am just going to grow into the skin now and I won't have to worry about stretch marks because i've already had them. I just want a nice round belly that I can take pictures of with my shirt off but no dice.

Ok enough complaining about my sretched out belly thanks for listening.
