i think you should be able to buy black cohosh tea at a natural foods store in the tea section. there are several companies that make this tea in tea bags also. sells some varieties also. sells some also (this brand can often be purchased at natural food stores).

i have never tried this tea, but for those that are interested, here are some more details on this tea from mothering magazine:

Blue and Black Cohosh

Along with raspberry leaves, blue and black cohosh have been used in later pregnancy for hundreds of years to prepare women’s bodies for childbirth. They are not safe to use during early pregnancy, but can be safely consumed in tea form during the last 4 to 6 weeks of pregnancy.

Like raspberry leaves, blue and black cohosh have both stimulating and relaxing properties which facilitate childbirth. Blue cohosh tones the uterus and promotes regular and effective contractions.

Black cohosh is a powerful painkiller specifically for nerve and muscle pain. It is one of the best remedies for ovarian and uterine pain. Drinking blue and black cohosh in tea form during the last month of pregnancy helps to prepare the uterus for birth.

1. Fill a teapot with cold water and bring to a boil.
2. Meanwhile, fill a clean teapot with hot water from the tap. Let it sit until the water boils, then empty the teapot.
3. Place 2 tablespoons dried black cohosh and 2 tablespoons dried blue cohosh into the teapot.
4. Add 1 pint of boiling water to teapot.
5. Steep for 10 minutes.
6. Strain, pour into a cup and sip slowly.

To make a cup of tea, use half the amount of leaves and water. Drink 1 to 3 cups of this tea a day during the last month of pregnancy.
