My hips are the biggest part of my body. After having my first, they spread a lo, and now after my second, they are even wider. I used to be an 8, but now I'm a size 14 in jeans. The same goes with my arms, they don't fit into the sleeves of my shirts anymore. How long is this going to take?

With DD my hips took 3-4 months to go back to their normal size. I have really tiny hips and I really thought that my hips were going to be permanently wide but they went back to normal.

My hips are still wide right now after DS so I guess I'm hoping they'll go back to normal but if not then it's no biggy, I kind of like the curves, hehe.

Not sure about the hips but one super fear I had was my feet not going back to their original size. Luckily they did!

My sister became skinnier after she had kids than before so I can't tell if its hereditary or what. But I do hope I drop the remaining pounds I gained during the pregnancy.

I think they do for the most part, but I guess your body doesn't have to go back to its original shape. I have a friend that said clothes fit her better after having her boy. She lost the weight in different places than before.

I know that your ligaments and joints and everything relax when you're pregnant to prepare for labor. This makes your hips/pelvis widen. However, do they ever go back to normal. I still have some pounds left to lose...but my belly is mostly gone. My main issue that is keeping me from getting back into my pre-preg pants is my hip bones!
