i think u can buy transfers at places like walmart. I'm from Canada so i bought it at the Future SHop,,, but i think i've seen them at Walmart before! hope this helps.....

Homemade shirts is an awesome idea. Sounds fun making them too. Where do you buy the transfers? Is it hard to do? Let me know, I am very interested in DD making herself a Big Sister shirt and maybe making her brother a shirt too. I saw a cute shirt on cafepress.com that said "Don't mess with me or my big sister will kick your ass" I don't want his shirt to say ass so I could change it!

you can also purchase plain t-shirts and then buy special paper... iron ons... so you can be creative yourself with your own clipart/software and design your own... print it off & iron it on a t-shirt. (hope that makes sense!) THat's what i've done many times... my son also wore a t-shirt that said i'm going to be a big brother... to a christmas dinner & that's how we told everyone with my 2nd pregnancy. It's a lot of fun. I think i would like to get my little ones to make their owns with the paints this time tho!

Target online has a set for the baby and for the older child. The toddler shirt is a size 2-4 and then the onsie is 0-6 months...I think. I dont think that you can find them in the stores but I did see them online. They werent that expensive either for two shirts.

I did order a couple shirts from cafepress.com. You're right, they don't have maternity shirts. I ordered an XL, but not sure how much longer it will fit!

I have got on there and looked at alot of other cute shirts to buy but never went through with ordering. I wish they had maternity shirts. They have cute sayings on the shirts but I could not find maternity shirts and trust me, nothing else will fit me right now. I bought my daughter a shirt from Cafepress.com that said I have some news on the back and on the front was a little girl saying "I'm gonna be a big sister" She wore it to a Christmas dinner with DH's extended family and that's how they all found out!

You can make your custom designs and get them made at http://www.cafepress.com and open up your little store. You can create as many designs as you want and put them on the custom shirts, tanks, baby onesies, bibs, hats, bags etc.. and choose different colors to put them on. It's cool. I like it. I have an account I just haven't made any shirts yet.

When my daughter was two, my sister helped us to do a T shirt for Fathers day.
It said "My Daddy lets me walk all over him". It was a red shirt and we put little yellow footprints all over it. He got lots of compliments on that one!

I'm an Accountant, not a creative type but my friend suggested buying a plain Tshirt and some Tshirt paint at a hobby store. Then you can help him to create his own shirt and even put his hand prints on it. I think that is what I will do. It will be a fun mother and daughter project. I'm definitely going to get her something to give her after the delivery. Maybe a "big sister" charm or her very own camera to take pictures. I've also thought about getting her a nice picture frame and then we can put a picture of her and the baby in the frame. Its such a special time!!

Do you know any places that sell those kind of t-shirts for older siblings. I think it would be really special for my son to Participate in that way and maybe get him a little something special too when the baby is born so he doesn't feel left out.
