Not many of us check in here any more. We have continued to keep in touch with one another, but in another forum. MM me if you are interested in knowing where we are currently "meeting".

Brielle starts kindy in 2 days and is uber excited about it. Hers will be a very small class and I hope her excitement doesn't wane. Sorry that your DD is struggling - school can certainly be scary! I would sit down with her and talk and ask different questions about what happens in her day and then ask if the kids are kind to her, what her fears are, etc. She may open up and in talking about things she may be able to face her fears a little bit so they aren't so scary and in time she may overcome them knowing her Momma is behind her and will do all she can to make school a success for her. I hope this next week goes better for her! Hugs!

Ok so this is my original group from the 1st time I ever joined babyfit more than 5 years ago. Now I don't know who's left but look at us now with 5 years olds! So my daughter just started kinder. I know she may be early because she is year round school. But I need some major help from you girls! She has been in school for about a week and half and at about the 5th day she started crying and freaking out when dropping her off! She says that she is scared and nervous : ( She is so embarrassing because she doesn't just cry but grabs on to us and won't let go! They literally have to drag her away to class. I don't know what to do. I have stress over this and tonight she was already crying when going to bed because she was already nervous. What is some advice : (
