Well, Femke got her burial in the ground this week. MIL hired someone to get the hole dug for her... FIL is a useless piece of poop!

I've had dead animals in my freezer as they waited to be buried.. A baby bunny just this summer actually...
Lela Astrid born June 25th, 2006 weighing 7lbs 6oz and 19 inches long.
At 3 she weighs 32lbs and is 37.5 inches tall
Sidney Antone born September 22nd 2007 weighinf 10lbs 15oz.
At 2 he weighs 36lbs and is 38 inches tall.

i wish i hadn't read that. i already was sick to my stomach...and that just pushed it over the edge. OMW. speechless. and as we all know...it takes a LOT for me to be speechless!!!

Won't do any harm! We once (growing up) had a roadkill badger in ours! Dad had a friend who was a taxidermist....
As long as it's well-wrapped, and not in contact with any food....

You may remember the saga about MIL's old cat being near the end of her life? Well, poor Famke went to the Rainbow Bridge with help from the vet. She was riddled with cancer from head to toe. :( She was a very sweet cat and I know MIL will miss her dearly.
So. if you remember, FIL wanted to throw the dead cat in the garbage and MIL wanted to dig a grave for her in the yard. DH offered to help dig the grave the last time we were up so that she can bury Famke when she was ready to help her to the Rainbow Bridge.... and MIL turned it around to make DH look like the bad guy wanting to kill the cat asap... needless to say, no hole was dug....
And now Femke is resting IN THEIR FREEZER for the winter.
