Where is everyone??? I am in my entryway, at my desk, listening to Brielle watching Dora in the background.
What did you do this weekend? I tried to rest so my back will heal. (I hurt it lowering Brielle and holding her out too far. The PT said it could take 4-6 weeks to heal. Today is week 2 - bleh!)
Tell me something lo did recently to make you smile? She interacts so cutely with me she is so generous and fun and that makes me smile. :-)
How are you feeling? I am okay - I started getting a sore throat last night, so I am back on ACF from Vitacost.com. I swear by the stuff!
Vent! I have things I really want to get done, but my back hurts and I am so busy with other things that they just don't get done. Yesterday I was pretty disheartened about it - closer to REALLY disheartened. Bleh! Today, I am trying not to think about it too much! I have 3 extra kids for 3 days and a dif. extra kid the day/night before these 3 came and after these 3 leave, that evening I have my SIL coming for the evening/night and the next day. And my DD #1 asked if two of her friends can stay here Saturday night, which I believe means eating here Friday night, all day Saturday and Sunday morning. So...as you can see, I really don't have time for me and accomplishing my goals. Oh well! Someday! :-) Meanwhile, a friend invited us to play games and share a dinner on Saturday night (at her home) and even though DD's friends will be here, I think we will go. I know I will be ready to GET OUT by then. :-P
What was the last thing you did for YOU? I go to town with Brielle to visit with my friends over a cuppa joe at a restaurant/hotel. Even though it isn't just me and benefits Brielle as much as it benefits ME - it is my "out" and I love it! I take her to a play group, too - that is for both of us, too! She plays with the kids and I chat with the Moms. :-)
What book are you reading? I am reading more than one. Ha! The Wedding by Nicholas Sparks, No Wonder They Call Him the Savior by Max Lucado, and the Bible
What tv show are you into? We really don't get reliable TV here and I don't watch it much unless with my older DD or SIL. I order Chuck seasons when they become available and Amber and I got hooked on Pushing Daisies now, too!
Anything you're looking forward to? I am looking forward to this summer and leaving HERE and going to see my sons and my family! The days cannot move fast enough!

I'm mostly on Facebook because it is a lot faster to catch up with people and if you don't have time to comment you can just "like". I do pop around babyfit every now and then but I can't really find much topics that I have anything to add to.

Hmmm, I will have to think hard because the kids have been driving me bonkers today, fighting non stop. Isabella surprises me with her insight to everyday life. Alexander loves photo's, like I do and was really enjoying looking at some old photo's on my pc and telling me what is happening in the pictures.
How are you feeling?
Not great, I've had a crap week, emotionally I'm on a downhill rollercoaster & physically I have had flu for more than 2 weeks and now I am still left with horrible phlegm, I am so over all the coughing ..
Vent! Lot's to vent about, where to start?....
I started a new job almost 3 weeks ago, the boss is a jerk who just likes using people and I got a new car just after I started the job and there is no possible way I can stay at this job ... (that is a whole other thread) so right now, Monday is around the corner & I need to figure out what I am gonna do about this job story.
DH is frustrating cause he never helps me with the house chores (old issue) I was ok with it when I didn't have to work outside the house but now it is just unmanageable and I am tired of living in a pigsty, I just don't have the energy to do EVERYTHING!!!
Money is tight, which is stressful.
My family is a circus which I'd rather not stay around to watch the show.
I don't really have much time to read but I am trying to read How to fight for Joy by John Piper. I am also trying to read my car's manual which is as thick as a text book .... What tv show are you into?
Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Houswives, American Idol has started here 3 weeks ago. Can't think of the others right now.

Right now, No. I am only looking foward to things going better & a solution to the mess with the job story.

Where is everyone??? between single parenting, dealing with divorce settlement, and busiest time of year work-wise, i can barely keep up with one social network...so i keep up with FB.
What did you do this weekend? practice for the christmas play, christmas pics of the kids, girl scout meeting for kara, church, lunch out with family, errands, and got a perm. pretty much something going on every minute around here!
Tell me something lo did recently to make you smile? she helps me around the house, rubs my back out of the blue if she thinks i'm tired, and says the funniest things. today she sighed and said, "mommy, i really want to be married now!"
How are you feeling? lousy. tired. headaches. no energy. overwhelmed. all that good stuff...
Vent! don't have the energy for it. and also happen to be getting along with everyone at the moment. will see how long that lasts! oh, but i am REALLY annoyed with TRU. they send out a catalog for christmas with sale prices, and towards the front is a toy kara decided she wants...only you can't order it online, none of the stores have it, and when you call customer service they can't tell you when/how/where to get it. and the sale ends tomorrow. i have been hounding them about it since the catalog came out. why would they put a toy in the catalog that is not available?? and i can't afford to get it for her without the sale price, so now i don't know what i'm gonna do...that was her "big" gift.
What was the last thing you did for YOU? made myself a chocolate shake tonight.
What book are you reading? read? well, i ordered "for better or for worse" (a book about a study someone did on divorce recovery) about two months ago. i am on page 7, after two brief reading sessions. it's a good book; i just don't have time to read.

What did you do this weekend? I had a GREAT weekend because a really good friend came to visit me and her and I had ALL day Sun to ourselves and went shopping, it was GREAT!
Tell me something lo did recently to make you smile? I told Evan I was going to "mop down the floor" (why I said it that way I'm not sure but that's how I said it) and he said "you're gonna knock down the floor?!" It was funny :)
How are you feeling? Good, restless, anxious, ready to work out but not wanting to work out and hoping T-day turns out okay! :)
Vent! No time right now but Evan was a SUPER STINKER today while the ECI lady was here for Dylan...

Anything you're looking forward to? Losing these last 10-12 lbs!! I'm soooo close, have already lost 20 lbs and the last stretch is in sight and I'm loving it but wish it would just get here already!

What did you do this weekend? DH and I went to Las Vegas for some alone time. We've never been before.
Tell me something lo did recently to make you smile? When I called him while we were away, he called me his "Mama Lovey" it was so cute! I missed him!
How are you feeling? Jet lagged would be the best way to describe it!
Vent! My Sister-in-law, who can't be happy for me and DH had to start trouble while we were away with my in-laws over a voice message we left jokingly. She riled my in-laws up so much that when I called to check on the kids I got yelled at by my MIL. To top it off, SIL also unfriended me on Facebook (which I find funny).
What was the last thing you did for YOU? Went to Vegas with DH!

Where is everyone???
in my bedroom, sitting at my messy desk. The boys are asleep. DH is at work (night shift)
What did you do this weekend?
Saturday was busy - we had French class (for Isaac) then church coffee morning, and my friend called and asked to meet up so we met her at a soft-play place for lunch, then we had a birthday party at 3pm, and both boys were invited. Fancy dress! We had "super-Isaac" in a Mr Incredible costume - it has an "i" on the front - and Nathaniel as Bob the Builder with added monster-feet slippers. His choice!
Sunday we kept it quiet - just church. I taught Sunday school on Feeding the Five Thousand.
Tell me something lo did recently to make you smile?
Isaac drew a GREAT stick-man figure at preschool and wrote his name on the paper. His teacher was impressed. Nathaniel is so funny I can't think of any one thing. He did give me a great cuddle today though.
How are you feeling?
Like I should be asleep, and I wish I could stop coughing.
Vent! This stupid cough, I have had it for at least 3 weeks now and I am DONE with it! Grr.
What was the last thing you did for YOU?
I stole a sneaky half-hour this afternoon to go to Costa coffee for a decaf latte and a piece of cake. Yum.
Nothing at the moment. Just finished Bambi and about to start The Famous Five (scanning for the next generation of bedtime reading)

No tv! I don't really miss it.
Anything you're looking forward to?
My scan next Thursday. And a new friend is coming to visit this Thursday - bit nervous about that. I'll be doing manic house-cleaning tomorrow!

What did you do this weekend? DH had his Vasectomy, so took care of him mostly.
Tell me something lo did recently to make you smile? The boys love each other so much, just the daily interactions. Right now Oliver is cooing and Calvin's talking back excitedly. And Marky's suck a big boy and helper!
How are you feeling? Okay. Stressed this weekend, with DH gone a lot and then out of commission this weekend.
Vent! I'm worried about this weekend. MIL either doesn't help at all when we visit, or goes too far and punishes my kids for things I wouldn't think they should be in trouble for (it's obvious she's never raise 2 small kids at once-especially boys. DH and his sis are 9 years apart)
What was the last thing you did for YOU? Bought some wine coolers and drank them-which was a bust since they gave me a tummy ache. Going to Harry Potter this weekend though!
What book are you reading? DH just talked me into borrowing the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

Where is everyone??? Studying, but still here a little too much (no offense ladies). Plus I've been sick so, trying to sleep.
What did you do this weekend? Studied, took care of the kids, ordered kitchen cabinet pulls and cabinet hardware, nothing too exciting.
Tell me something lo did recently to make you smile? Benjamin has been quite protective since I have been sick and tells me "Mommy, I like spending time with you" and Brody just says the cutest things - all those 2 yo phrases, but the best is when he wraps his arms around me and says "I wuv you" or "I got you, Mommy!".
How are you feeling? Better than I have the last few days, but very tired since I had to be up at 5am for clinical.
Vent! Where do I start? Benjamin is not listening very well and I am frustrated and wondering I am too hard on him. DH's schedule keeps changing and I can't plan ANYTHING and NOTHING is getting done as a result. It looks like the cabinets will not be installed by Christmas. I am tired of having to watch every penny - it is so stressful.
What was the last thing you did for YOU? I just worked out b/c I knew I'd feel a little better about myself. That and I am sending the kids to my parents' tonight so I can study and again Wed night so I can study some more.
What book are you reading? The Fundamentals of Nursing, Mother-Child Nursing, Nursing Diagnosis, the brochure for the museum we are taking the boys to over Christmas break.
What tv show are you into? Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, Brothers and Sisters; for some reason, Gossip Girl has become a guilty pleasure.
Anything you're looking forward to? Christmas break, even though it will be packed with cath-up stuff, and I am already behind. Looking forward to getting the kitchen finished and actually getting to entertain - someday.

What did you do this weekend? my normal staying home with the family. :) i tell you, my life is so exciting it's crazy!!
Tell me something lo did recently to make you smile? 1. haniya made cinnamon bread and pull-aparts with her gma sat. they were yummy. 2. i did a final tuck on abbie and gave her a kiss and told her i loved her. in her sleep, she said..."i know...good night!" it was so sweet and funny. 3. michael's saying more words every day and using them regularly. we were VERY worried about him. 4. 8mo josh popped his 7th tooth and is cruising and climbing furniture.
How are you feeling? i have good and bad days...lately i've been sore due to RA and lupus.

Anything you're looking forward to? getting our house reno'd. it's disgusting. we moved into a house that needed to be utterly rehabbed and have been here 14 mo and nothings been done yet. the ONLY room i liked was the boys room. it was the nursery and guess what??? michael jr just peeled the cute snoopy wallpaper border off. thanks...now i hate the whole house. (you know, when you move into an apt, they paint the walls...our house had disgusting walls and we didn't have time to paint cuz dh was going to work. dh never repainted this summer. if i painted, it would look like josh did it. i got pulled from a volunteer job i was so bad. lol.)

Where is everyone??? I'm here. I just haven't been posting much because everything for me is pregnancy related at this point, and I feel like most people don't really want to hear about it.
What did you do this weekend? Nada. Zip. Zilch. We stayed in the house the whole day yesterday. I did make it to church this morning with the girls though.
Tell me something lo did recently to make you smile? Lindsey has been so good with Megan lately. Just wanting to take care of her. She actually tried to change Megan's diaper yesterday.
How are you feeling? Ugh. Fat and pregnant. My belly hurts today from contractions, but they don't feel productive. Really wishing something would happen soon.
Vent! Megan's tantrums have been driving me crazy lately. Her's are so much worse than what I remember Lindsey's being. She could go for hours if I let her. Plus she doesn't listen to me. When I ask her to do something, I have to repeat myself twenty times before she acutally does it. I keep telling myself, she's only two, it's a phase.
What was the last thing you did for YOU? I gave myself a pedicure. Haha! 39 weeks and trying to reach my toes. DH was laughing at me. I painted my toes a bright red color, and I love it!
What book are you reading? A Feast of Crows by George R.R. Martin. Plus my Runner's World mag.
What tv show are you into? Biggest Loser, Dexter, Boardwalk Empire, Ultimate Fighter, Survivor, The Office. Yeah, we have tivo.
Anything you're looking forward to? Having this baby! I can't wait to have my body back and to feel normal again. I am really looking forward to a good hard run.

What did you do this weekend? um, nothing!! i went shopping w/ my sis and her kids and i actually bought an adorable pair of shoes--comfy and red, woot!
Tell me something lo did recently to make you smile? avery always makes me laugh... connor makes me smile when he's being bashful and shea makes me laugh at what he says.
How are you feeling? i'm feeling pretty good, tho i've been quite tired lately, which i think is normal when you're staying up til midnight every night!?!

What was the last thing you did for YOU? see above--bought shoes. i needed something warmer than my flip flops now that it's getting cold here, and sis and i went to ross and i found some cute flats that i loved, but were more than i wanted to spend. i already had a couple of cheap xmas gifts and some ornaments in the basket and i put all the rest back and bought my shoes!! my sis was so proud of me b/cs i always put my stuff back after 2nd thoughts.
What book are you reading? hhhm, what AM i reading? y'know, i think i'm actually in b/twn books right now.... just finished harry potter 5 and was reading a christian devotional but am done w/ both. so yeah, i'm in b/twn right now, which is SO odd, but i'm also knitting like crazy to meet deadlines/gifts.
What tv show are you into? i watch too much right now, but i like crime dramas: burn notice, ncis, criminal mind.
Anything you're looking forward to? i'm LOVING this season right now. i love to bake, i love plotting out shopping lists and gift giving lists and just the general holiday preseason activities. that said, i'm going to memphis next weekend to have early tday w/ my best gal pals and i'm NOT taking kids, so i'm looking very forward to that!!

What did you do this weekend? We had a birthday party at the neighbours for their 4 yo twins yesterday. They had a pingata(sp?).. it was so much fun to watch all these lo's try to hit it with a stick lol. Today after nap time we are heading to my parents for DH to 'fix' their computer and to have dinner.
Tell me something lo did recently to make you smile? Brooke has been really focussed on writing the alphabet - this is huge since up until a month ago she had no interest in letters or numbers :).
How are you feeling? Like a whale with bad acne.
Vent! I'm in 'nesting mode' and Ms. Amelia prevents me from sorting stuff because she gets into everything... everything takes 5x as long when sorting with Amelia 'helping' lol.
What was the last thing you did for YOU? Yoga yesterday morning :).
