I know a little boy named Leland, he's a sweetheart. I know an older gentleman named Declan, he's nice but it makes me meh on the name. I prefer Naomi out of the girls names. I live about 20 minutes from a town & mountain named Afton so that's what I think of with that name. \my 2 cents for what they're worth.

I think the more I think about this the less decided I've become!!! But I actually have been wanting to go into this birth with a few names for each gender and make a definite decision once I see the baby (which I've never done before), so I feel like the ones I have narrowed down to are begining to be the top of the list. Thanks for all the input. I am actually happy to hear impressions of Afton, since it's not a very common name and I'm not sure how people percieve it, it's interesting to hear what people's initial reaction is to it. I actually found it in a book I read when I was a teen and have really liked it ever since.

Leland is awesome! I really really like that! I agree with the PP on Afton. It is cool and kinda cute just not fem at all to me. I do like Nora alot though! I definitly like Leland. I think it works well with everything and totally fixes that Rhyming issue! :)

I think Landon is cute you could switch up the spelling and make it Landin. And I also like Lillian you could also make it into Lilly-ann or Lilliana. happy naming :)

So after going over names with my dh, I am back to considering more names for my little one due in June. I am not finding out gender, so I need to pick a boys and a girls name.
For a boy I have it down to either Landon or Lyndon. My dh's name is Brandon, so I have a bit of a hangup about using Landon, and thought Lyndon was a good alternative. Do you like it, or would it be better to go with Landon and have the rhyming with dad's name?
For a girl my short list is Nora, Lillian, Camilla, Naomi, or Elyse.
