Glad to clear that up!!! Though I've actually never heard that song, though now I may have to go find it! I'm still liking Lola, and I also really like Lillian lately, but I'm worried about it being too popular. Although I just asked my dh about my entire list of girl names and he shot all of them down (typical for him), so who knows what we will end up with. Since we won't know gender till birth this time I probably won't pick 1 name for sure, and will have a top 2 or 3 names for each gender and decided once baby arrives.

I think you should go with Lola, your Mom will get used to it. There are several celebrity babies with this name...Maybe that will butter up you Mom. I also like Willa, I don't care for Afton... and if you sisters are making fun of it... that could be annoying later on.... Good Luck TTC :)

My vote is for Afton Jeanine- love that! Very unique.
Haha, I know Lola has a personal connection for you, but it always makes me think of the Kinks' song, Lola... "Well I'm not the world's most masculine man, but I know what I am and that I'm a man, so is Lola..."

Willa gets my vote! (It's actually a back up Girl name for myself- Willa Grace)

I really love Willa, though dh is not so fond of it. Lola is my late grandma's name so I love that one for sentimental reasons as well, though my mom thinks it's awful as a name (even though she loved her mil as a person, didn't like her name). She says it just reminds her of the song about Lola being a showgirl! It reminds me of the show Charlie and Lola which I think is adorable! And Afton is a name that I have loved since I was a teenager and found it in a book I read, but my sisters think it's horrible and say it makes them think afghan every time they hear it. Oh well, I guess you can't please everyone!!

I like Willa Jeanine! I think its really pretty. I really like Lola too though! :) I think they flow better with the middle name than Afton does also.

I like Lola or Afton, both seem to be unique and go with Jeanine. Good luck TTC!

I'm getting ready to start ttc baby #5 in the next month or two, and of course I'm having a great time thinking of names already. My 3 favorites for a girl are Willa, Lola, and Afton. I will be using the middle name Jeanine since that's mine and my moms middle name. My boys names are Kaden, Jamison, Carter & Bennett. I'll post a separate post with boy names. We're planning to have a surprise at birth, so I'll have to pick a girls and boys name ahead of time.
