I wasn't given any exercise restrictions after my surgery. I did notice too that I bled / spotted more after being active, but it was nothing extreme. Probably whenever you feel like it would be OK

Hey Cassie, Sorry about your loss. I was going to post the same question today, weird! I had a D & C last Thursday. For me, the best way to feel better is to exercise. I notice the more I do, the heavier I bleed. Even doing laundry, lifting my kids, and cleaning up the kitchen gives me cramping and more blood flow...I don't even remember what my dr said about restrictions, b/c I was so out of it. Rachel

My doctor wrote out for me, "no exercise, nothing in vagina, two weeks" - but I started jogging at the end of the first week anyway, just took it easy and tried to listen to my body. Nothing terrible has happened, but I do notice that more of the dark brown spotting that I'm having seems to come down during my jogs. I guess I should wait to get the OK from the doctor during my follow-up in a week, but I kind of can't take this life-on-hold thing.

I just had my D&C yesterday and I know im not supposed to have sex for 2 weeks but what about excercise? I was wanting to get started pretty quickly but I dont want to mess up anything by doing that so if you could tell me how long you were told to wait or how long you waited that would be great! thanks, Cassie
