It turns out we heard a heartbeat last week, but this friday will be an ultrasound. One more hurdle to get over. The ultrasound was when we found out last time our baby had died.

i wouldnt think a miscarriage is happening just because youre not having pregnancy symptoms. im 13+ weeks, and i dont have any. early on i had sore BBs, but really thats it. i have had no MS at all either. all pregnancies can be different, even if you were sick with your son, you may not at all this time. i wasnt ever sick with any of mine...
i understand being scared, after having a MC. i had one in april of 08, but it didnt make me worried i would have a repeat.
im sure things are absolutely fine with LO, but checking the hcg levels should give you peace of mind:)

Without an U/S it is hard to know for sure what is going on, but since your Hcg is high, you should be ok. I know that the numbers don't keep doubling at a certain point, so I don't know what they should be. I have heard that some women lose symptoms as they get further along and everything was ok. I hope all turns out well.

I am currently in my third pregnancy, first produced my beautiful son. The second ended in miscarriage. This one, I am unaware of what is going on.
Last week my symptoms disappeared over night. I should be 10 weeks, but all of a sudden I don't feel pregnant.
I've just had two HCG levels done, and they are 138000+, which is where they should be, and now I have to wait 48 hours to do more, to see whether they drop or stay up.
I'm very confused, because I feel as if I'm "normal" and not pregnant at all, I'm shocked to hear my HCG levels are still so high.
I'm in Canada where no doctors offices have ultrasounds, and we have to wait weeks to get into a xray clinic to find out what is happening. It's such a frusterating situation!
I don't know if anyone else had experienced a similar situation. I'm trying to see if a miscarriage is inevitable, or what is happening!
