Congratulations on your new little one! This article will help you get started until you are released from your doctor to return to exercise. If you are not breastfeeding at that time you will likely want to return to SparkPeople to set up new goals.

As parents you establish the teaching, training and expectations for your child in the first 7 years of their life. After that you live out what you set up.

I was seriously overweight pre baby, although I was dropping weight via sparkpeople help. The calories have me at 2780 a day min ( i am 5*9 and 256)currently. I also had a csection so I am not working out yet and not until I am cleared to do so, I am just trying to get a good idea on how many calories should I be eating to start losing a pound a week again. Pre baby I was eating about 16-1900 cals with exercise. I am not breastfeeding either. anytips?
