As long as your doctor says it's OK to try exercising I would continue carefully. Do follow up with your doc if the bleeding doesn't stop within the next few days.
I know it's frustrating, especially when you feel ready to get back into your fitness routine. Keep in mind that you'll soon be healed and will be able to push to higher levels.

Hello,

I'd either shorten your runs or even power walk for a couple of days to see if it stops. Even though you maybe feeling better your body is still recovering and it is best to take it slow.

It great that you are already able to exercise. I find that when I exercise I have more energy to care for my children.

Take Care,
Samantha

I called the Dr. and talked to a nurse. They said it could be my period and that if it doesn't go away in like 7 days to call back. They said if there is no clotting or cramping, that I am fine and can still exercise. I kind of think it is from the exercising, so I will try not to push myself too much, but it's so hard! How frustrating!

Let me know what your doctor says. Sometimes if the bleeding isn't heavy it isn't a big concern.
I hope you can get back to your running soon!

Had you been bleeding before you started exercising? Also, is the spotting bright red or more brown in color?
If you experience increased bright red bleeding with exercise you may not be fully healed. I would check with your doctor about this to see whether you should go back to walking or another less strenous activity for the next couple of weeks.
Your doctor may not be concerned with a little bleeding after exercise, but it's always a good idea to check and see what she/he thinks.
Keep me posted on how you're doing!

I know, pleasant topic... Anyway, I am 7 weeks pp. I went to the doc last week who said I was cleared to exercise. I stopped bleeding for 2 days, but have started again. I have also started jogging... could that be the cause. Will the bleeding not stop until I stop exercising for a while? Any advise?
