It got easier for me too. With my son I was in pain for what felt like forever, it was maybe 4-6wks. With my daughter it wasn't even a full 2wks. It was still hard but the hard part didn't last as long.

it's gotten easier for me with each kid except one thing with my boy i ended up with an abcess but it resolved itself pretty quickly once diagnosed and antibiotics started. nursed my first son til 13 months (self weaned) second son til 18 months (had to wean him off b/c of some super protective behavioral issues) and am currently bfing daughter :)

Breastfeeding got easier for me as I had more children. I hope it is the same for you!

I always hear stories of mom who were unable to bf their first, but manage to succeed with subsiquent kids. And I have just kind of assumed that since I had such great sucess with my first, I will def succeed with my second. Anyone had serious issues getting #2 ( or 3 or 4) to bf when #1 was easy. I'm just a bit worried that this little guy won't be boob man like his big brother.
