Thanks for the feedback. I am now four days post period and I noticed slight brown spotting once this morning. I will test tomorrow as we are experiencing tornados in the area today.

I had what I thought was a period June 1-6 (yes...6 days) last year, then June 20 or so, my boobs got sore, and I was actually pregnant. I had been since late May. Apparently I had 6 days of implantation bleeding (glad I DIDN'T know I was pregnant!). It just happened to coincide with the time that I would have expected a period (CD26, but I had just gotten off the pill, so I knew my cycles might be a little wonky). But it sounds like your soreness is closer to the time of bleeding....of course, my Mom said she knew with me, since her boobs were sore one week after conceiving.

I know it's definitely possible to have implantation bleeding that looks like a period. If I had had the soreness right after my bleeding, and tested, it probably would have been too early to have a strong positive.

I don't know if that helps you any.

Good luck! Keep us posted!

Most EPT's are accurate this early on. A change in feeding pattern might be caused by a change in milk due to a pregnancy too. Breastfeeding can make your cycles less regular. You will not know until you test.

Has anyone found they were pregnant after a couple of days of period-like bleeding. I began my period on Sunday and it abruptly ended on Monday evening. Now I have slightly sore breasts and I know we could have actually conceived last month around ovulation. Also, I experienced pregnancy like CM in abundance the day before the "period" began. I do not want to test for a day or so more as my period rolled in a couple days early. I am breastfeeding my 20 mo daughter and she has been taking five minute hits at the breast a lot in the past week or so. Perhaps I am sore from this but honestly I had nursed twins as toddlers in the past so it is not like I am not used to frequent toddler nursing. Any comments?
