I never took a class, I read read read and that was sufficient. Experience to me was the best teacher. I think you will be okay.

From what I understand, what you would learn in Bradley is pretty similar to what you got from Lamaze. Bradley probably has some more information and maybe more relaxation techniques because the classes are longer, but I teach Hypnobabies because I think it has the most to offer towards helping women have the best births possible for them of all programs out there. I think you would benefit a lot more from it because I know there would be things in it that you have never learned before and it would help you deal with the fear you have that you mentioned in your previous post. I recommend looking into it (www.hypnobabies.com is the website). If it is something you think you want to do, you can take a course with an instructor if there is one in your area or purchase the homestudy course.

For my firstborn I took the childbirth preparation class offered at the hospital. It was very bare bones, and not sufficient. For my second child, I took a Lamaze class. It really helped me a lot. Now, I am expecting my third. I am considering a Bradley class offered by a friend of mine, but don't know if it would be a waste of money or a big help. Any advice? I'll be delivering for the third time at the same hospital in just four years.
