Poor little Ethan, and poor Mommy for worrying about him all of the time. I know that it must really start to get to you, considering how much we all care and love our babies even when they are healthy. Please give him hugs and kisses for me, and I really hope that you get some relief soon. Is there anyone that can give you a moment to relax? That's probably not an easy thing to ask for, but I pray that you get some kind of R & R.

Well, I know it has been a really long time since I have been on here and updated you all. Everything has just been a bit overwhelming though...
So, back in January we did another Sleep Study at the hospital and it turns out Ethan had a ton of apneas and at his worst, Ethan ended up desating to 68. All of his apneas were classified as Central Sleep Apneas or CSA's meaning that his brain was not sending the signal that he needed to breath therefore, Ethan has been on Oxygen whenever he sleeps. Well, a few weeks ago, we did another study and he is doing much better. We were finally able to get him off of oxygen (Thank God!)! he still has some obstructive apneas and they feel that his tonsils are playing a big part of that so he is scheduled to have them removed at the end of October.
It is also confirmed that Ethan has a pretty severe case of GERD (acid reflux) and is now on an adult dose of Prevacid. I am hoping that this makes a big difference for him. We did a 24 hour pH probe and it showed about 60 episodes of reflux with over 40 of them being acidic...could you imagine having heartburn 40 times a day? Anyways, I am praying that this makes a huge difference for him!
I hope all of your LO's have been doing well and are healthy! I will try to get on here more often!
