I have a good friend who swears by Good Start. She said she tried a few w/her first and her daughter did the best w/it. She plans to use it w/baby #2 as well.

We started out using the Enfamil with lipil but Talan kept spitting up and was always gasy.(Sp?) Now we use the similac which is what the hospital sent us home with and he does really great on it. Our doctor said the Similac Advanced with Iron is suposed to be the new best thing in formula. But I dont know much about Good Start and never used it.

I feed Jackson Good Start. It was recommended by a friend of mine who is a Neonatologist/Pediatrician. We originally had him on Enfamil Lipil and he got so constipated. Now, with Good Start, his system works fine, he spits up less and loves it. It is a formula that is truly more gentle on their stomach.

if you find yourself at the store just pull both off the shelf and compare vitamins and minerals to see if its just as good.

Jenna is now a beautiful baby that can laugh out loud , sit up unsupported, reach for her toys, grunts when she is mad, madly inlove with her daddy, and babbles constantly (She also says mamamamamamamamamawhen she is crying)

I just found out that WIC does not promote Similac. That's the formula that Ethan is on right now. The only way they will let me get the Similac is if he is really sick and the doctor has to prescribe it. Otherwise they say I can convert him to Good Start (the one they use).
I won't start getting the checks for Ethan until July 13 because that's when his appointment is to enroll him. I wish I could have gotten it sooner.
My point is I wanted to know if Good Start is just at good as Similac or doesn't it matter. If I want to get free formula I have to change.
