I know I felt really sick - like the flu and a period put together before I headed to L&D.

I felt sick like the flu all day yesterday also. I'm also telling myself that it is just the heat. I'm in NC and it has been very hot and humid the last week. I can only go outside for a couple minutes before I start feeling sick and unable to breath. I feel like I need to take little cat naps every couple hours too. I think my body is just reacting to being pregnant for so long and is wearing out. Hopefully I won't have to wait much longer!

all day ive been really tired (even with 2 naps at 2-3 hrs each)about an hr ago i started dry heaving pretty good and my bowels feel ready to let loose (tmi i know)

no fever so i'm hoping this may be a sign of things happening....

my rational side is blaming it on the heat.....

Well, according to the research I've done, you're exhibiting several signs of impending labor!!!

Yay!!!

Best wishes!!

We had baby #2 on September 11, 2008; a baby boy!! He was 8 lbs., 11 oz., and I delivered in 6 hours, with NO pain meds. Go Mom, go Mom! At 3 months, he's 13.5 lbs. and 24.5 inches long!

Our first DD was born in July, 2006. She was 6 lbs., 11 oz. and just under 20" long. At almost 2.5 years, she's just over 34" tall and not quite 25 lbs. (peanut!).

I'm not sure if this is it, but I've been feeling achey and tired all day long. I can't find anything in my pregnancy books about this, but I just feel blah. I have pretty strong BH contractions about every half hour, along with pelvic pressure and back pain. The BH's aren't painful but lately having been making it a little hard to breathe. My DR said I have to wait until an hour of "painful" contractions or an hour of contractions 5 mintues apart.

In the meantime, I feel like I have the FLU, and a horrible headache, and am just waiting for the contractions to intensify.

Is this normal? Anyone else experience anything like this? Please help! Thanks!
