I have it too, sometimes it hurts soooo bad just to walk to the bathroom. I agree its just everything settling back in.

I get a contraction like pain as I'm finishing up peeing at night. Its as though the baby is like, "whew, now I can settle back down into the bladder" and just lowers her/him self again!

We had baby #2 on September 11, 2008; a baby boy!! He was 8 lbs., 11 oz., and I delivered in 6 hours, with NO pain meds. Go Mom, go Mom! At 3 months, he's 13.5 lbs. and 24.5 inches long!

Our first DD was born in July, 2006. She was 6 lbs., 11 oz. and just under 20" long. At almost 2.5 years, she's just over 34" tall and not quite 25 lbs. (peanut!).

Sometimes when I wake up through the night, I don't feel like I have to pee at all but go and realize that is why I woke up. I find when it happens, I really pee alot and I am shocked that I didn't feel like I had to go that badly. The pains are almost like stitches that I feel like if I can get myself positioned right, they go away.

I have the same pain. I notice when I laydown and get up it hurts there. I asked my doctor the last time I was in there and she said that the babies head was low and just pushing down.

Does anyone else experience this. I wake up and go pee and if it is a long/full pee, when I come back to bed and lay down, I have sharp pains all throughout my uterus and they only last for about 30 seconds. could this be the uterus settling in to where the urine was taking up room?
