Something similar happened to me.... my dr. said it was no big deal. Drink a ton of water just in case you get diahrea. THe water will wash it all out. Even if you were to get the flu, strep throat or a nasty stomach bug... it would not effect your baby. Plus, if you only had a couple of bites... no biggie.

Thanks. I tried calling my doctor, but his office closes at 12 on Fridays and I don't want to have him paged for this (I'm sure it is fine, I'm just neurotic). One of my good friends has a sister who is an OB, so I am having him ask her this weekend.

Oh no, I'm sorry you had that experience! If it really has you worried perhaps you should call your doctor?

I ordered a turkey burger for lunch and the center was pink! I think I may have gotten a couple of undercooked bites and I'm now totally freaked out (also posted this in the nutrition forum)! The waiter came over afterward (service was HORRIBLE to begin with) and said "oh, it's a little pink?" like it was no big deal, like I had asked for medium and gotten medium rare or something. I said "no, it's half raw, turkey burgers are not supposed to be pink EVER and I'm pregnant and raw meat is dangerous for my baby!!" He took it off the bill, but never even apologized! Ugh!
