I wont really have a choice. there are two flights of stairs to get to my apartment. No way can I be stuck for 2-weeks in my apartment. I will take it easy.... but they are crazy if they think I can avoid using stairs when I will be by myself for 8+ hours a day. Husband will be working and going to school.

i think it all depends on yo and how you're feeling. they told me no stairs for 2 weeks, but i went up and down a little last time. getting up from the couch and off the bed were the killers for me.

Well I just had a c-section and we have stairs and my doctor told me that i can go up and down as much as needed. She just told me to not rush and overdo it. I will be the first to admit they aren't the funnest thing with staples but getting in and out of our blazer is worse.
My prayers and best wishes

The stairs did not bother me that much, it was the jumping in and out of the truck that was hard.

I have never had a c-section but at my preparation for child birth class they told us that you can only go up the stairs once a day if you have a c-section. I thought that was crazy.

Not for me. Coughing, sneezing and rolling over were the only things that bothered me and that was only for a few days. Good luck!

For those of you that had a c-section....does it hurt to go up and down stairs? I did not have stairs in my house when I had my DS. I was just wondering what to expect. Thanks.
