Wow! I'm impressed! Issy has yet to do anything but fart on the potty. She's known the words and signs 'toilet' whenever I go in. She also tells me when she's pooped and pulls on her diaper but if I catch her grunting like she's about to go and plop her on the potty, she stops. She'll sit forever on the potty while we look through books and will pee and poop AFTER she gets off! I mean, RIGHT after! Guess I'll just keep trying. I also bought some cloth trainers since they're supposed to be more effective than Pull ups, which are really just diapers anyways but I'm going to wait until she at least starts using the potty a bit first.

Christian knows how to do everything BUT pee. I dont think he knows why he's sitting, but he likes to do it.

Whew, those boys are early! Did they start showing interest, how did it happen?
We've had a potty in the bathroom for months. C loves to go sit on it with a book when I go to the bathroom. He's also been ok sitting on it without pants/diapers a few times. I offer up, but I don't force this at all.
Right now he's in a phase where he does not want his diaper changed most of the time... he pulls on his pants and screams no-no-no-up-up-up. It's funny and it isn't.
Oh, and Brandon does not yet often tell us when he has to go either - I just ask him every few hours (he usually pees about every 3 hours regularly).
I agree that asking every once in a while is much easier than changing a messy diaper!

Nathan is still using the potty most of the time...he does not have to words to tell us when he has to go, but when we do ask him if he has to "Go Potty?", he points to the bathroom and pats his diaper. If anything, this is alot easier than changing the smelly poopy diaper.
Yesterday he was in the bathroom with DH while DH was peeing (sorry! TMI, but this is cute) and Nathan starting clapping his hands for DH because we always make a big deal and clap when Nathan goes on the potty! Then he flushed for DH and said "bye - bye"!

I am jealous!!! I have been considering poty training, but with our next being born next month I am concerned about consistancy.

Wow!!! That is awesome!! I really want to start concentrating on getting Maddie to use the potty. She tells me when she goes pee or poopoo and she loves to sit on the potty when I go to the bathroom. I've been wondering though if I should bring the potty down into my living room and maybe she would start using it.

YAY!!!! I wish Kamari would use the potty but i know that because of him being premature he will be a little behind but i will just be patient and wait until he is ready, but he has used the potty twice before, the first time he p'd and the second time he pooped, ithought he would keep using it but he doesnt know when to tell me that he has to use the potty
