Oh Maddie has been doing this for a couple weeks now!!! It's really awful! Maddie is such a polar opposite of how my son was at this age. He was very laid back and not trying to get into too much, but Maddie she is a monster on wheels!!! She climbs out of her crib, breaks out of every baracade imaginable, and opens doors and climbs over gates. I'm afraid to put a gate at the top of the stairs because i'm afraid that she'll try and climb over it and will get seriously hurt. She's really good about going down the stairs she'll say "scoot" and sit and scoot down the stairs and she'll hold the railing too. I'm worried about my front door though because we just have a handle lock and i'm thinking of installing a chain lock or something just in case. Sorry for the rant, but believe me i feel your pain!!!

I would put a gate up in the doorway of the rooms you don't want him in. Like I have one up in the bathroom doorway.
