To repeat, you should not start worrying about walking until your child reaches 18 months. My son did not start walking until he was just about 16 months old.

my son did not start walking until he was 16 1/2 months old. I was a little concerned and brought him to his doctor infact i went to 2 Dr's to get two opinions and both Dr's said he fine....JUST LAZY! LOL! Mine wasn't even walking assissted until 16 months. He hated us holding onto to his hands to walk...he just wanted to crawl. I wouldn't worry too much but if you LO in not walking by 14 mos then take him to see the Dr for reassurance.

if it will make you feel better, you can as your pedi, but he just turned 1 and many children dont walk yet at this age, so give him time and try not to worry!

My son turns his right foot under when he walks(assisted)...he seems like he cant lift his feet high enough to walk..he has no prob walking around furniture but has yet to take a step alone and he is 1 yr old.
im calling my ped in the morning but wanted to know if this sounds normal or was walking very natural for your lo's???
