You have every right to be angry. I feel your pain because my dad is the same way. He took her to get ice cream without the car seat one day while he was watching her. She was only there for two hours. He doesn't get to be alone with her at all anymore.

Why is it so hard to find a trustworthy person to watch your kids?

How frustrating!! I'd be soo ticked off. I mean, you're only the mom... and it's only your child's health!

Now I'm a little worried about leaving Aliza w/ my 84 year old grandmother when I take K. to the dr. next week... I"m always terrifed she's going to give her something to choke on...

Hugs...that is hard. I think what you are doing is best though. You are the mother and this is about your child's health.

so what i say shouldn't matter right. thats what my mother thinks.i am so angry we don't let my mother watch my dd if possible because she's an idiot. i tell her my dd is allergic to dairy an she says that's bull and gives her a glass of milk. sure enough my dd is sick. i have asked her not to give my child candy we are not big on sugar in my home. she ignores me an hands my 6 month old a lollypop. i swear she does it to tick me off. i had a doc visit an was desperate for a baby sitter so i used mom. i told her that maddie is allergic to citrus along with her other allergy list. i even brought over foods for the 1/2 visit. well i get back an my childs face is puffy. i asked what happen. she said my dd took an orange on her own an ate a bite. also somehow her water turned into apllejuice. i lost it i accused her of trying to kill my child. i said i left you a list what happened. he answer was what do the docs know they are just trying to scare you. somehow i missed the day she got her licence to practice meds. needless to say we won't be visiting grandma anytime soon. i'll just have to suffer the docs with her. thanks for letting me rant
