Thanks girls for the prayers and the well wishes.
I kept calling the dermatologist to see if they had a cancellation. They can get him in on Monday at 10:15.

My husband recently had a small spot of basal cell carcinoma (cancer) removed from his neck. The doctor is confident that he got it all. It was done in an outpatient type of surgery & he is recovering great. The biggest embarrassment to him was just wearing a bandaid on his neck. We just have to keep him slathered with sunscreen this summer. Easier said than done! I'm praying for you that it's not cancerous, but if it is, for a simple removal & quick recovery.

Sending healthy thoughts DH's way. Good thing you're having it checked out. I had a couple of them removed a couple of weeks ago, one was sent for testing. Thankfully, that one came back benign. Let us know how the appt. goes.

Hi Y'all...
I have a request for those of you of faith....
This morning my very fair-skinned, blue-eyed, red-headed husband asked me to check a discoloration on his shoulder. It's not a bruise.
At the moment we have no insurance (because of all the job drama that you all are aware of). However, I did call and make an appt with a dermatologist. My DH supposes it is nothing, but I don't want to take that chance and for the first time, hope he's right and I'm wrong.
Please please pray for it to just be something weird and not melanoma. I am typically not a worry-wart, but this I have had to battle in my heart to not worry. It's nothing until they say it's something... you know????
