I still have a faint line, but with effoliation it's pretty much gone away...

My line was rather light, but it's still there. However my stretch marks just started to fade about a week ago and are looking so much better!
I second the exfoliation comment, I have been using apricot scrub about every other day, and lotion after every shower. Seems to be working.

I just read about this in Baby talk magazine. The line on the tummy and other skin changes that occured during pregnancy can take up to a year to go away and sometimes they never do go 100% away. I also read that tanning can make those lines and spots worse, they said to use at least a 30spf on those areas to keep them from getting darker.
I agree with the exfoliation comment, it has definately helped mine to fade. In addition to my line, I had a brown belly button too and taking the time to exfoliate helped it go back to it's original color.

Mine never got really dark and I'm fair-skinned, but it is still there. It may be fading some.

mine has faded a lot, but it's still there. i wonder if it'll go away completely before a year. and what about stretch marks? mine are still pink, i don't think those'll ever fade either.

Exfoliation is key!! Use a washcloth for a good scrub. It will help it to fade a little faster, although it could still be there for up to a year I have heard. There are a few posts about it from a while back. Good luck!

I still have mine but it has finally begun to fade. I am still bfing and i heard that it tends to stick around if you BF because you still have some of the horomones that caused it. Hopefully it will eventually go away.

Does everyone or anyone still have that brown pregnancy line on their stomachs? Mine seems just as dark as when I was pregnant and doesn't seem to be fading. Are there any tips on getting it to fade faster? Am I going to have this brown line forever??
