Ashleyde: I have the EXACT same thing happen to me! The small gush always seems to happen after I have been lying down for awhile. during the day it is just the regular yuck pregnant dischage stuff, but it is like water on the morning gush.

Maybe your doc will be better about diagnosing what it is. Mine is clueless. She said maybe I am losing my plug.

Alexis was born on March 8th. Her big brother is a wonderful 5 year old!

does anyone else get this? I have the regular vaginal d/c during the day, but a few minutes after I get up in the morning, I have a little leakage of fluid...I put a pantiliner in and after a while it stops. Is that normal?

I've had this, too. Not dripping, but definitely moist. I think it's part of the pressure from the BH's.

Kat: Where I'm from, we call what you describe as a 'queaf'. It's a vaginal fart. Not very flattering, embarrassing to hear during sex, but all natural. Practice those kegals and you'll be able to do it on command after the baby's born.

i get the pee-sneeze now, too. the only time i feel like i may have leaked or anything is when i get out of the shower... i dont know if its just water from my rinse or what, but its weird.

When your water breaks, you know it. Maybe not within the first minute or two but definitely within a few minutes. My water broke with my oldest daughter and I did not go into labor until the next morning. It was not a huge gush like sometimes happens, it was just a leak but it leaked all day, like a trickle from a faucet which is nonstop. You will know. No worries!

about the pad thing- my Dr. always asks if i'm leaking but i honestly can't tell. sometimes i feel like i am but i wear a panty liner and it absorbs well. if i sneeze and pee a little i can't really tell by the pads. but sometimes my pads feel really heavy and full. is this what your Dr. was talking about? i just don't want to panic over nohing, you know. lol. :)

Katrina, relax, if you are not leaking fluid I would not be concerned. The sound was probably just some air that got in your vagina and made a noise when it made it's exit.
There is no air in your uterus or in the amniotic sac . The baby breaths in the amniotic fluid just to practice for when he is born not for oxygen while in there. The way the baby gets oxygen while in there is from our bloodstream ( we breath for them ) .
So you can relax , please don't stress out, from what you have reported, lol, I am SURE you are absolutely fine :-)

I have heard, although it is not confirmed, that vagina farts are a sign of the end times, the tribulation. You guys have heard - earthquakes, wars, rumors or wars and vagina farts.

Okay - I'm sorry - I just have not laughed that hard since like the 8th grade.

Not that I think it is funny you were upset but in retrospect, isn't it kinda funny?

I just want to second what Emily said. There's no air further inside than your cervix. It's closed to keep the air out. Sometimes an air bubble just gets trapped in your vagina and comes out when squeezed.

KATRINIA17.... there is no need to worry at all.
You say that you are just having sounds from your vagina...but you are not leaking any fluid!!??

Your amniotic sac, is full of liquid not air. Your baby breaths from the umbilical cord. So you are not going to deflate your sac, and have him have no air.

If you start to leak fluid, then call your DR. If it is just sound from down there, i think it is nothing more than a vaginal Fart. It does happen at times!!

Oh...I see...for movement. I thought she was talking about OJ and Sweets to help with the leaking! That's what I was confused about.

Yesterday when I asked about amniotic fluid leaking, my doc said, if you feel something like that wear a pad. The usual vaginal discharge will only stain the top layer of the pad, but if it is amniotic fluid it'll soak thru' the top layer like water.

Rain~ orange juice and sweets would help b/c it makes the baby move. Orange juice and apple juice(stuff like that) have natural sugar in it, so thats best. But any sugar should make your little one squirm.

I'm sorry, this is no laughing matter, but the title of this thread made me chuckle.

I honestly wouldn't worry about it too much; maybe just call your Dr. for reassurance. I don't see how orange juice and sweets would help, though???

Katrina:

Are you in any pain and are you having a slow leak or was just for that moment? It could just be that infamous discharge most of us have now. I get that "sound" too sometimes when I'm using the bathroom (peeing). Just try to relax for now until you can determine what is really happening--your baby is well protected and it's not going to dry up.

I had this fart sound come out of my vagina and now i'm worried that my anmio sac is leaking air and that my baby will dry up or something. I tried taking deep breaths and now i'm gonna try laying on my left side and taking slow deep breaths. Should i also try drinking orange juice and eating sweets too? Do you guys think that i should call my dr. or just go to the hospital? I'm like really freaking out over here. Help
