Thanks girls, the only updated news i have is that they are doing some genetic testing, but i got that in a breif email, so not much info...

I will definitely pray for them.
Both of my kids were early and tiny and my 3rd will most likely be the same way. Its scary but babies are amazing and there's so much they can do in the NICU to keep them safe and healthy so I'm sure this baby will be just fine.

Darren was born 5 weeks early and weighed 4 lbs. 11 oz.

Kaitlyn was born 7 weeks early and weighed 2 lbs. 11 oz.

Cameron was born April 21 and weighed 5 lbs 15 oz.

I'll keep them in my prayers.

If it's any consolation, my neice was born at about 31 weeks and weighed just about the same as their baby. She just celebrated her 3rd birthday. She spent about 2 weeks in the hospital but didn't have any major problems at the time. She did have some occupational therapy in her first year to help with some motor skills, but to look at her today you would never know she was early.

Her family must be worried about such an early delivery and small birth weight. Just tell her Leonie's story and she might rest a little easier:) I will keep Meghan in my thoughts.

My friends daughter Meghan. She was born at 31.5 weeks!!!

My friends water broke early and they had her in the hospital on bed rest trying to keep the baby in for a week or so but she had to be born via c section. She is 4lbs 10oz and in NICU. This is her first baby and she is very scared, so any extra prayers and thoughts will help.
