HI I started my pregnancy with 132 lbs (60 kg), I am now 19 week and I have gained only 3-4 lbs (2kg). Is this OK, my doctor said that after the fifth month more weight is gained.

Well I got a shocking surprise at the Dr. today! I thought I had gained around 21 lbs but the Dr. said I had only gained 11 lbs at 22 weeks 4 days! I was excited! whooo hoooo and 7 lbs was from vacation (oops)

Hi, I am 23 weeks along and have gained 15lbs. Not that worried because I am exercising 6 days a week and feel really good. I was probably on the leaner side pre-pregnancy, so I needed to gain some weight.

Hi all! I've only gained two pounds during pregnancy, and I'm just into my 20th week!
I have an appointment next week, so I'll see what my doc says. So far I feel fine. I was about 10 pounds overweight when I got pregnant, I guess not gaining much weight is OK in that case.

I lost 16 pounds during the first 16 weeks. I'm now 22 weeks and 5 days and I've gained 11 pounds back. But, of course last month I gained 8 pounds and my doc said that was too much for one month. But, it was really the first month I felt like eating. I gained 25 pounds with my first pregnancy so I'm thinking I'll be around that.

wow!!! Do I ever feel huge now. Since I don't own a scale I have to go with my weight at my last doctor's appt. on Oct. 3rd. 22 wks and 20lbs. Ya I said 20lbs! Oh my god. The doctor didn't seem concerned or alarmed but reading that some have only gained like 6lbs. What are you ladies eating. I think I eat relatively healthy, not too much junk food. How big will I get. Oh well as long as it comes off eventually. P.S. I do think I'm going to have a big baby. (and no there's not twins)

Im 21W 6D and I've gained 10lbs. I still havn't gained any weight in the last three weeks though. Any ideas from any other mommys on gaining some weight? If I dont gain any weight by next week the nutrionist is going to help out.

I'm 23 weeks 4 days an am 1/2 pound over pre-pregnancy weight. So for the break down lost ten pounds gained 10.5 lbs I just hope I can keep at a 1/2 to a pound weight gain a week for the rest of my pregnancy (I was overweight pre-pregnancy)

My due date was up'd to 2/6 and sooo I guess I am at 22 weeks..15.5 pds so far. 8pds were in the 3rd month...all I could do was eat to keep the nausea at bay..since then it has been pretty reasonable. Although I feel like I have gained more than that. Can't imagine packing on 15+ more pds! Yikes...the last month or so will be miserable : )

I don't think it is...my doctor did say that pregnant women will go thru growth spurts. I went thru one a couple months ago and gained 5 lbs in 3 weeks and every since then its just been a lb a week!

Up until 2 weeks ago I hadn't gained any weight (about 60 lbs overweight to start with) and I was so happy that I was eating healthy. Then for some reason I went crazy with the junk food and haven't been able to stop! I've put on about 6 lbs since my 9/13 appt. This weekend I'm determined to get back on track and cut out the wasted calories. Everything's good, blood sugar and bp, but I need to be more careful.

I lost around 3 pounds in my first trimester and bow have gained that back plus 4 more so i have agined about 7 pounds. I was worried that I lost but the dr. assured me its ok and I am gaining now and thats what matters. I have never wanted to gain weight so bad before!
