So... accupressure tx, castor oil and walking up and down stairs for awhile has brought my contractions to every 2 minutes apart for 45 seconds. Hopefully the next time I report in there will be baby news! :)
Renee, I wish I read your post about papaya and pineapple before I tried the castor oil. So far there have been no ill effects from the castor oil though thankfully. :)

yes, be sure you eat something light now... just in case. do you know if you are dilated at all? I hope your walk can make something happen, so you wont have to go to the hospital and have pitocin.. yuck! thats what happened with Gavin, water broke, and NOTHING happened, so 12 hrs later ( i now know they could have waited longer, grr!! ) they gave me the pitocin.. i was so upset, but if you arent contracting by morning there really isnt much you can do. i know you are probably tired, but walk as much as you can to try to move things along tonight:) castor oil can be harsh, send DH out for some fresh pineapple and papaya from the store, then eat that.. it might work!! :D good luck!

Well it is now close to 1:45pm with nothing much happening. I am getting the odd small contraction and am just generally annoyed because I am tired but the gravol didn't do anything to get me to sleep. Aarrggh.. Oh well. My doula is coming by in an hour to do some accupressure to get things moving along. I just talked to the midwife who also suggested castor oil if the accupressure doesn't work. I am scheduled for an induction at the hospital in the morning if nothing more happens before then.
Sarah and Renee you have convinced me to go for a walk. I was feeling too tired and lazy to go but you are right. I should get out there for a walk... after I eat ;)

good luck! i wouldnt be overly concerned about the water breaking, but keep an eye on the bleeding. hopefully one of the midwives can get to you soon ( if not already ). have a nice cup of tea, relax, and walk, walk, walk! visualize the baby moving down and out, i swear it works!!! hope you can let us know how its going!!! we cant wait to hear the good news of your new LOs birth! Oh, Janice!! Good luck. I'm not sure what midwives to but with a hospital birth they don't want you going over 24 hours without delivering and if you leak to much fluid you could have a dry birth! OUCH!
I hope all goes smooth as silk and your little princess is here by dinner time. Time to do squats and a bumpy car ride!!
