Congratulations Kimberly, Belen is beautiful! To answer your question - it just happens!!! Honestly, it may not happen straight away for everyone but one day you will wake up and realise you totally love two children just the same. And I agree with Sheila, you will have a great little helper! As long as you spend quality time with Belen each day she won't feel left out.

This has been a HUGE question for me as we try to have baby number two! I look forward to the responses! Im a bit nervous although I will have a BIG four year old to help out around the house!

Being a mommy has been a challenge and one that will only make me stronger! God grant me the strength and wisdom to be the mommy that I need to be!

You will love the baby just as much though for me it took longer to love #2 because I didn't have as much 1 on 1 time. I think you will have it easier with a 4 year old then i did with a just turned 2 year old. You will have a true helper! And one who sleeps all night, so not the tag teaming I had too. The first year is hell. But once the baby is on the go and you loose that morning nap, life is sweet. : )

Hey ladies! Any advice for going from having one to two kids? I am a little concerned because I have had three whole years (it will be four by the time the baby is born) with just my daughter and I don't know how I can fit another baby in, you know? I love her so much, will I love another baby the same? I know that probably sounds horrible! I don't want Belén to feel like she isn't enough for me. I guess I don't know how to put into words how I'm feeling. Any advice?

Kimberly
