Yah I was told that I was 1CM / 1 finger dialated with my last DR visit (Nov. 16th). She said it was to be expected since I am on my 3rd, so that don't help, b/c I can be at this stage or even 3 or 4 and still be stuck here for awhile. Anyways, the contraction pains usually are a sign, but not always that something is working down there. I guess it'll happen, as it happens, even though we all are very tired and getting impatient.
My little Angelina Belle has finally arrived. EDD 12/09/05 or 12/21/05. She was born healthy and strong on 12/04/05 @ 10:45 AM EST and weighed in at 7 lbs. 5 oz. and was 20 inches long!! The picture is of my oldest daughter Kelsie and her new baby brother the day he was born on Oct. 30th 2004 at 4:29am... Loooong night, but worth the wait and struggle!

I had my dr's appt this week and she told me I was finger tip dialated.. I am also feeling more pressure down there from my baby girl..

At the beginning of this week I was 1cm dialated and 30-40% effaced. I feel a lot of pressure down there from the baby, but I had no clue I was dailating of anything.

I've been feeling what seems to be pelvic and cervical stretching/aching, but when I was at the dr the other day I wasn't dialated at all.
Who knows?!

I don't know why I am curious to know...but I am and unfortunatly I won't find out until my 38 week apt. I have had quite a bit of pressure down there and that same pinching feeling...(kinda feels like you have a little hand with nails scratching) Very weird and annoying feeling.
Wow HAFFIE23 - 3 cm already...not much longer now before we all have our little ones.

My dr. checked me for the first time yesterday, and I had no idea i was dilated at all...maybe since i'm a first timer i just cant tell. But i'm already 3cm and had no clue. It was a nice suprise though. I get the same pinching feelings, but i don't really know what pains i have that make the progress, i just know i don't like them. Oh well, 3 down 7 to go. Something tells me that i'll notice when i begin to dilate the rest of the way...hope its not too long now!

Can you feel that you're dialated even if you're not due for a few weeks... like if you're dialating a few cm's at a time before going into labor? I know many of you are dialated to a 1 or a 2 and didn't know it until you had a doctor appointment and they checked you. I'm just curious if it feels like anything. Sometimes I get a kind of pinching feeling in my vagina, where my cervix is. Of course this could be in my head, wishful thinking that I'm already dialated! So anxious to meet my baby boy already!
