I was told by by Gyn that at 26 - 27 weeks the baby is still very mobile. I am also carrying very low and feeling most kicks at the bladder. But like most people have said, we still have many weeks to go and the baby could still change position.

I had to have an US at 24 weeks because of his size and his was head down. When I mentioned it to the tech, she told me that he was still able to move around. I remember reading in one of my books that they don't worry about that until late.
Even though his head was down, I felt kicks or movement all over the place and still do.

I was told at 5.5 months that he was head down and would most likely stay that way.

Some days I feel her kicking my ribs. Some days I feel her kicking my bladder. I hope she is facing head down when it is time to deliver.

I agree with KERARAE, I don't think there is a "right" position for the baby to be in just yet. They still have a little room to flip around in there and they are just taking advantage while they still can. I wouldn't worry about position right now.

I belive that they do not "worry" about the baby being in a breech position until 36 weeks or more. I'm sure your baby will move into the right position when it is ready to be held in your arms.

Hey there, Just wondering how the baby is supposed to be positioned right now. The books show that it's upside down, some websites show that it's right side up. Anyone know how it should be? I haven't been told that the baby is breached, and I mostly feel kicking/movement at the bottom of my belly (I'm carrying low). It's just a discussion hubby and I have been having lately.
