When i was a mother's helper, that was the rule we had. If it was over $10 i gave it back if they asked. I just felt that was right. I can't tell you the number of times I had the whole wallet in the wash, pay check and all. LOL

That stinks! I prob would have said "Nope, I didn't find anything, but you can go look in the bottom of the washer or dryer" Ha ha ha, but that's just me. Then I'd ask him how much he was missing and what it was for. If it was someone else's money I'd figure out a way to get it back to him. If not, oh well! That'll teach him to clean out his own pockets.

My mom had a rule when it came to laundry. If it's in the pocket when it reaches the hamper - it's hers!
