Welcome back Dawn!!! Let's hang out soon, we are around. E-mail me so we can make a plan.

I did that yoga/booty/ballet yesterday and it was boring... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Thank goodness I ended up helping a friend out with her business. She is an amazing handbag designer and got a shipment of 150 big boxes that we unloaded and took from the front yard to the back, then moved, organized and unpacked. It was a major workout and was GREAT!

I am off to take Holden to daycare in a few, then to the gym. After my workout, I have a massage and then a facial at the spa at my gym. A day for me yeah! Then I am going back to work for my friend.

Ok, must find my gift certificate for the spa and get Holden and I dressed. Check you all out later and have a great day!

Hey Dawn - Welcome back!!

Well, the in-laws are coming today and staying until Sunday. I don't mind them except for his mother but they're all staying here. It's gonna be a long 5 days!!!

Well, I'm going walking and then tanning. I'm still waiting for my Beachbody excercise videos to get here. I won't be able to do them until they leave anyway.

Hi Girls....

It has been so hot here. The heat wave is finally on its way out. Yesterday Emerson and I went up to my parents house on the island to swim and lay out. It is cooler at their house since they get a breeze off the water. Today we are going to stay around the house and play. I haven't been in the mood to workout because it's to hot. I'll be back on track in a day or two.

Paige...Hope you had a great birthday. Are you surving the LA heat wave?

Shannon....How are you enjoying the new house? Did you get all the painting done?

Breia...We miss hearing from you. How is Reed?

Good morning! I had a perfect birthday yesterday. Worked out, got a mani/pedi with a friend, went to this awesome dress shop near my house, met the owner/designer and got 3 dresses, took a little nap, played with holden and then went to dinner with 10 friends. It was mellow and perfect.

I am up now at 6:45am and about to get dressed. My friend and I are taking a yoga/booty/ballet class at 7:30. Her boyfriend is babysitting her son and Holden for an hour so we can take this class. I am not sure what it is, but I am sure I will be sore from it tomorrow.

Well, I think I may start walking again today. I really really need to!!! I know I"ve gained a couple pounds.

Good morning girls! So, Holden and I got back home last night. For the three days we were gone I did not workout at all. I took a walk on Friday and Sunday, but nothing all that great. I also ate so much stuff I would never eat and now I feel bad that I did. I am jumping back into the workout hardcore today. I have class at 9am.
Tonight I am going to dinner with friends for my birthday and hoping not to eat too much bad stuff.
I have a wedding on Sept 3rd and have 2 dresses to pick from to wear but I have to lose some more weight to fit into either of them....

I hope you all had a nice weekend and stayed nice and cool! The birthday party Holden and I went to was inside a kids gym, but that part of the valley was 116 outside! It was so hot that when we went to the park in Malibu at 9:30am on Saturday, it was over 90!!!!! (and that is at the beach!)

Hey girls, I'm back and man did I have an amazing time. I was atad drunk the entire weekend though:) SO MUCH FUN but only to visit, I could NEVER imagine living there anymore!!! I loved coming home to Sam and that beautiful smile!!

Shannon, awesome about the size 8, I'm doing the happy, skiny dance for you:) Last year I got Sam all the shirts shes wearng now from Old Navy, I have to get back there this year!!!

I'm hurting this morning, the weekend killed me so it wil take a day or wo to get back, I can't imagine working out right now!! Way too hot here to to workout outside!!

Ok Sam's exhausted and I have to get back in mommy, housecleaner mode:)

Hi Ladies...

What a night. It was 97 here yesterday and my house was so hot last night. Houses aren't build with A/C here because we don't really need it. We really needed yesterday. Poor Emerson, she was so hot. I had her in just a diaper. Today...95 oh boy a couple degrees cooler. We might go to the beach again to keep cool.

Shannon...I went to Old Navy too. They had great deals. I got Emerson a jean jacket for $2 and a bunch of 12-18 month stuff.

Erica...Have fun in NYC. Don't worry about Sam she will have lots of fun with Grandma. Emerson loves to spend the night at my parents. She goes at least once a week.

I'm not kicking butt today....It's the weekend. LOL Have a great day and I'll check back later.

Shannon, that is great about the skirt, don't those little surprises make you so excited?

I have been doing inside w/outs only, it is in the 103's-108's here so nothing outside if we don't have too. I have been losing more inches and the clothes are starting to look alot better, I know that I do not always post in here, but I do read it and you girls are all doing great! I hope I did not intrude on your thread.

Just checking in before we head out to NYC soon:) Grandma will be here and then we go, can't wait to meet up with friends, have a drink or 2 or 3 or 4

I will be back Sunday night, probably with some great pics:) Maybe some that I can't post:) I'm having some anxiety leaving my baby girl but I know she's in good hands, I just have to do it!!

Morning girls! Holden and I are out at someone's house in the palisades. They went out of town and gave us their house for a week. I think we are going to only stay through the weekend though because all of my friends live near my house.

I LOVE the britax carseat. I have one in my car, one in my mom's car and I have another at home for when I go with anyone else. It is the best and clip's right in. Seems comfy too for the little one. I still have Holden facing backwards though. Some woman scared me into doing that for at least the first year.

I am hoping to do some sort of workout today when he naps. They have a gym in this house, so I just have to wait for him to go down. Right now, I think we are going to the park to get some playing in before it gets too hot.

It's going to be a hot one here today. We are off to the gym before it gets to hot. Hubby is off today so we might go to the beach to keep cool. Nothing is more refreshing on a hot day than to swim in the bay.

Kelli - Shaylee's in the bigger carseat but still facing backwards...we have to switch it soon though. Your doing great with the weight loss...keep it up!! I remember not too long ago I was 158 and never thought I'd be where I am now. So, you can do it!!!

Erica - I can't wait for you to be your new house!!! I know you can't either!! Wish I was there to help!!

Ever since Shaylee's been born, I've had issues in the lovemaking department. I wish I felt different about it. I think it's mostly because of my body changing. I just feel embarrassed and I know he loves me no matter what but it's still an issue with me. Hopefully, it won't last too much longer.

Oh my...it rained here like crazy today!! I was ready to build an arc!!

Does anyone have any secrets on how to get rid of acne. I've been breaking out for the past two months and can't seem to get rid of it!! It's driving me crazy!!

Hey Girls....

Have any of you switched from infant car seat to infant/toddler convertible yet? If so, what brand did you end up getting? I'm thinking about getting the Britax Decathalon. It holds up to 65lbs. By the time Emerson reaches that weight she might be in 1st or 2nd grade. LOL

I've been cleaning house all day. We are going to walk tonight. The heatwave is starting again. It's going to be 95 this weekend. Washingtonians aren't used to this kind of heat, but I do love it. I loved it when we live in AZ and it was 118. Hubby has been doing great with the diet. He has lost 12 pounds in the last 3 weeks. I'm down to 158 (I know I'm

compared to all of you). I would like to lose 28 more before Oct. Keep me motivated girls!!!!

Hello girls..

Well the official move date isn't really for 8 weeks but we have to move from here in 3 weeks, to another house hubby bult for investment. I HATE the double move but this other place has a gorgeous pool and I've already met a bunch of young mommies. Sam and I were there all day today, we had a picinic lunch and went swimming, them she slept and I got really tan:) My hair is white too, man I need to stay out of the sun, LOL. I use the sunscreen though, I just love that tan look:(

DH didn't get any last night cause he worked OT so it wasn't my fault. Oh well!!!

Cam-I like the names you've picked out too!!

I was just thinking of baby names this morning and I'd like another Irish name since I have Conner and Shaylee. I have lots of time to think about it.

You are all doing so well and then there's me who's fallen off the wagon. Still no kicking butt for me. It's rainy here today anyway. Hopefully, when I get my Beachbody stuff in, I'll start up again. I do need to get out there walking again. Shaylee probably misses it.

I'm trying to get stuff together for her b-day since I'm having it at the end of August (my family will be up visiting and I'd like them to all be at her party). I found the party stuff online so I have to order that. Then I was thinking of the food I would have. She already has her 2 b-day hats and dress. I need to find a b-day bib though. And I have my guest list made up. Any suggestions on the food menu?

too bad everyone isn't coming out to LA at the same time, we could have a big night out! That would be such a blast!!!!

I can't even begin to explain how sore I am this morning. I can hardly move or walk I am in so much pain! I am going to another class at 8:30am, it is a pilates class at that same place I took the ballet body class. My friend and I walk there from my house. Today I am being smart and eating a zone bar before class so I don't get dizzy.

My date went well last night. I really get along with this guy so that is a good sign. I am seeing him again on Friday night....

I must run and get ready to workout and go play with Holdy.

Hey girls!

I made it to the gym today for 40 minutes of cardio and thenlifted back and did some abs. Yea! I burned off some of that ice cream I had last night.

Shannon- You are too funny about giving it up! My poor hubby hardly gets it anymore either. I'm just too tired when it comes to that these days. I need to get better about it, but I think the low libido is due to the breastfeeding or maybe just plain being tired. LOL!

Kelli- Your trip sounds like so much fun! We are doing a similar trip in August. I am in my best friend's wedding in San Diego but we are driving so we are going thru LA first to visit some family in the Bev Hills area for a night or two, then off to San Diego for the wedding, then back to Santa Monica where we are renting a house with another couple for a few days. I can't wait! I am so in need of a vaca! Congrats on the 6 years! DH and I just celebrated 6 years of marriage last weekend. Where does the time go???

Erica- I am going to have to tell DH what you said about another just making your heart bigger. So cute, and so true! I would have 10 if I could now! So funny b/c DH had to pretty much talk me into one just a little over a year ago. I never knew I would love it this much! I LOVE the names you picked out! So cute!

Paige- You are brave about the brazialian! My sis went to cosmetology school and she had to learn to do those. She had to learn how to do a Brazilian on a man, too! LOL! They actually had a male model come in to have it demonstrated on him! Ouch! I was cracking up when she was telling me the story of him up on all fours in front of a class full of women and a few gay men. Poor guy!

Suzanne- So, how did the workout go? What did you end up doing? I was laughing when I read what you said about how you want another so that will be how it is. LOL! I'm with you on that! I pick my battles with DH since he is so hard-headed and stubborn sometimes but when I put up a good fight I usually always get my way. Hee Hee! I think I will have to play that card with him on this one. When do you plan on another? Any names picked out for boys/girls?

Ok girls, I'm off to bed. My peanut went down late tonight and I am totally tired now. Off to the gym in the morning!

Well, I didn't do too much kicking butt today. I went shopping and then made a nice salad for dinner. Just waiting for DH to get home from work. I think I may give him some since he hasn't had any in over a month...I know....I know...I'm a bad wife.

Paige...You fainted at the dentist? Wow! How are you at having your blood taken? I thought for sure you would have a high pain tolerance since you bikini wax. I don't have my tongue piercing any more. I took it out after I started dating my husband. He is a conservative midwestern boy and didn't care for it. It would be fun to meet up while I'm there. This is the first time since the honeymoon that we have had a chance to get away....we've been married 6 years. LOL I think hubby wants to make it special.

Kelli- Sounds like an awesome trip! You, Dawn and I should meet up while you are here! I live about 5 minutes from Beverly Hills.
If you want to get a wax while you are here, she is in Bev Hls and I can hook you up with that. If you have a tatoo and tounge piercing, you could totally handle it. I once had my belly button pierced and fainted if that tells you anything. (it grew out of my body a few months later...)
It doesn't itch at all when growing in. I have the LOWEST pain tolerance in the world. I fainted in the chair at the dentist last month from a novacaine shot for filling a cavity. Totally went out. I am the biggest wimp in the world.

Paige...We are staying at the Hyatt Regency. It is near the beach and has views of the harbor. When the conference is over we are going to head up towards Magic Mountain. We got a great deal at the Radisson in Chatsworth since my dh works for Boeing. We are going to fly home out of Burbank. I'm so excited. The last time I was at Magic Mountain was a few years back when I worked for Alaska Airlines. Oh..before we head up we are going to toodle around LA/Beverly Hills.
I've always wondered what a brazilian wax was like. You must have a high pain tolerance. I thought I did when I got tattooed and had my tongue pierced. Does it itch when it grows back...like shaving does??

Kelli- Which Hyatt are you staying at? My sister lives about 2 minutes from Magic Mountain, are you staying out there or in Long Beach?
The weather here is hot, hot, hot! It has been crazy for over a month, usually around 88-98 everyday. I am sure it will still be like that when you come out here.

Suzanne...I just wanted to let you know that I think you've been doing an awsome job with the workouts. I've been trying to stay motivated and hitting the gym. Before the baby I was so gym obsessed. I would freak if I couldn't go 5 x a week. Now, since I had the baby I have to push myself. I really need to lose this weight so I can get pregnant in October.

Bria...Hope the workout was good today. I can't have any sweets in the house...to tempting for me and hubby. I hope your California weather stays hot for me in August. Hubby has a business trip to Long Beach and I'm going with him this time. We are going to stay a few extra days and go to Six Flags. I'm a roller coaster freak. We are staying at the Hyatt. I'm going to be good and use their fitness center then go lay out by the pool every day.

Shannon...I've been feeling blah the last few days and sure enough Monday I started. I've been craving

all the healthy stuff..LOL

Erica.....How's the packing???

Cam-I got the Slim in 6 one. I'll let you know if it works for me.

I think I may walk this evening but that's all I have planned today. I do have to go get bloodwork done to check my thyroid levels and get my prescription filled. I also have to go grocery shopping. Ok..so I have a bit more planned than just walking. The in-laws are coming next weekend :( so I have to get this house in order.

Breia- Hope you get in a good gym workout today!! I have to stay FAR away from Ben & Jerry's because I do eat the entire thing, in less than 30 minutes sometimes...oink, oink!!

My DH would be happy to only have one child as well but I want another one so that is how it will be. I just hate to think that Cammie would not have anyone if something were to happen to us.

Paige- Do you do a regular bikini wax or the brazilian? I have been thinking of getting a brazilian but am sooo scared of the pain!!
Ballet class sounds like a super fun cardio workout. I would love to take ballroom dancing someday. It must be a great workout because the Dancing w/ the Stars people were always cut!

Shannon- Is that the TurboJams set that you ordered? I have heard it is good so let us know how you like it when it comes in.

I have been doing pretty well. Last night I did a FIRM workout along with abs and some pushups. I am planning on getting 30 minutes or so in on the treadmill tonight. I just cannot decide whether I want to powerwalk on an incline ot jog....hmmmmmm!

Morning all!

Shannon- I hate the whole pms thing, I eat so much and feel so huge! I have been really trying to know when I have pms so I stay away from salty foods to cut the bloating, but I alway forget....

Breia- Yum on the ice cream! I have to stay away because I would eat the whole thing. You can totally get in a great workout today and forget that you ate it.

I am taking a ballet body class today at the place near my house. My friend and I have been wanting to take a class there, it is supposed to be great. We will see... It is supposed to be a great cardio class and I need that. We are meeting at my house and walking over.
I have such a busy day! Have a lesson at the apple store on things my computer can do, then a bikini wax. (i thought it was yesterday but it is today) and then lots of cleaning and stuff to do at home. I have a date tonight and am nervous! Hoping my cute new jeans fit well tonight.

Just got back from the gym. Did a good cardio workout and am so happy because on the way to the gym, I was beyond tempted to skip it. I told myself that I had to go make an appt at the spa at the gym since I have a gift certificate and that got me there. Now I have an appt for next wed for a massage and facial. I really want to hit 139 by next wed which means I have to lose about 3-4lbs in the next week. I know I can do it if I really keep up the workouts and eating right.

I still feel blah and don't feel like kicking butt. I will try walking this evening. I have to go grocery shopping and try to clean this house a bit. Shaylee is sleeping so I"m off to take a shower.

Good morning girls! It is 8am and Holden is sleeping... I hope he wakes up soon so we can play before I take him to daycare and race to the gym. I have a bikini wax today finally and then a great job interview.

Yesterday I went to a spa with a friend to get massages. I have not weighed myself in over a month, (have skipped my weight watcher meetings like a bad girls) but I weighed myself and had lost weight. I am going to weigh myself at the gym on the medical scale this morning and see if it was right. If it was, I am 6lbs from my pre-preg weight and 10 lbs from where I want to be! That would be awesome because I can totally do that before Holden's birthday. I would love to be back to size 2 or 4 within a year of giving birth. I remember my sister. who usually wears a 0 or a 2 telling me how hard it was for her after her first baby to get back there and she said that as we get older it is more difficult so I was really worried. Not that I am there yet, I am still in a 6, but I feel like it is possible and that makes me happy.

Shannon- Welcome back and congrats!!!!! on hitting 130. Don't be so hard on yourself about feeling blah, you are doing fantastic. Good thoughts and feelings only...ya hear:)

Erica- I hear ya on the heat. It has been over 100 for the last couple weeks in my part of Texas...ick!!! I hate getting out for even a few minutes because I just feel gross and sweaty so quickly.
By the way, Sam is a doll in her picture!

I did 30 minutes on the treadmill as well as some abs and pushups this evening. I did okay on eating today too but just kind of snacked through dinner...spoonful of PB, wheat thins, and 1/2 an avocado...sounds gross, huh!

HOT, I HEAR YA

103 today with 100 percent humidity, you seriously could not breathe!!!! It was awful, still is!!
Sam and I went to the gym and then to visit daddy at work, that was about it!! We did have a photo shoot, she totally poses now:)
More packing and getting ready for the move, that's about it! Have a great night

Hello Girls....

It sounds like everyone had a great weekend. Mine was pretty quiet. I'm getting together with my girlfriend today. She has a daughter that is turning 1 at the end of the month. It will be fun to watch the little ones play together. We were both pregnant together and she used to live three house down from me.

Hopefully I will be able to get to the gym tonight. Hubby is working 9 hours a day this week. I'm hoping he won't be to tired.
