fertile myrtle? pregnancy post-MC

I also just found your post. I too had a mc in April of this year. I did not have to have anything done as my body took care of it. The dr said everything stopped at 3 weeks and I would have been 6 weeks when the mc happened. We didn't really wait to try again. In May, June and July we used OPK's. I had a "period" 4 days late in July, it only lasted 2 days and was lighter than usual, but still a moderate flow. I did a test 2 days after AF was due but it was negative. Then, this month, on the day AF was due to arrive I randomly did a test at DH's request. It was positive. So now we need to figure out how far along I am.

Just ran across your post and saw that no one replied so I thought I would ask how you are doing now and if you were really pregnant or not. I had two miscarriages back to back last year but I waited six months between them like they wanted me to. Now the second one being a molar pregnancy I'm still waiting the full year from the time my HCG levels were zero. It's been such a scary thing to deal with. I hope you are doing okay.

just wondering how many of you got pregnant in the past after MC and how soon? and did it involve a D&C?

i MC'd at 8 weeks and just had a D&C on March 30th. it went very well, and i only bled two days and never had any cramping or pain. we are being careful and are planning to wait the two cycles our doc recommended, but i am beginning to wonder if i am already pregnant. i know that after MC, you still have some hormones left over and can feel pregnant even when you're not. i also know that you are super fertile right after, so he and i have tried to be careful (i can't use condoms, as all we've tried irritate me). but i am experiencing the same early symptoms i experienced at the very beginning of the last pregnancy right after we conceived. i was ravenously craving sex last sunday night and could not get satisfied. then, the past few days, my lower abdomen has been hurting just like it did during implantation before (which, by the way, happened about 3-4 days after my libido went way up last time, just like now). yikes. i am so scared. while i want a baby, this soon after a d&c terrifies me. could this be really bad for me or my baby if i am indeed pregnant? maybe my body is just preparing for AF, though. i guess only time will tell.
