Well... here's hoping.
I stopped birth control in May. We started trying August 1st. I had my period on the 5th and ovulated around the 19th. Since I'm due for my period tomorrow, I took a test today just in case... and it came back with a faint positive! It was ClearBlue test with a horizontal and vertical line. We bought a First Response today and I'll try that in the morning to see... I know it's still super early and we can't be sure until after the missed period, but I'm hoping this is it!!
If it is... and I am... then my due date will be my birthday!!

Buy an ovulation kit from Walgreens. It will help you pinpoint the day you are ovulating -- without a doubt!

I haven't actually had my cycle return since getting my IUD out 2 weeks ago. (I didn't have a cycle on it), but I think I had Ovulation symptoms on Saturday/Sunday.
I was pretty excited until I read that women with PCOS can have the symptoms of ovulation without actually ovulating! Bummer!
Anyway, this is my first 2WW...probably...LOL

Month #2 of trying.. I'm either 6 or 8 dpo. My woman calender app says I ovulated on the 26th of july, but I think it was actually the 28th, waiting to see, according to the "implantation" calender, it could be anywhere from today till the 10th. ~sigh~ I hate the 2WW. Worse! I am a hypochondriac - so I think EVERY symptom is going to lead to a positive test. I took 5 last month, alll negative, though I was 8 days late. for no reason. :/ Anyone having any odd symptoms? Last month, I swear I was cramping a ton, and had lots of CM, headaches, dizzy spells, nausea.. This month, just a little mild cramping :(

Thank you Mrs. Randall. As it's been almost 2 years since I've had a period. (pregnancy, then exclusive breastfeeding, and then Mirena), I have no idea what my cycle is, when I ovulate, or even if I AM ovulating.
I started some heavy spotting after having the Mirena removed, so now it's just a waiting game.

The hubby and I are trying for baby #1 in February/March 2013! This is our first cycle actively trying, so we are really excited to see what happens. I'm tracking with OPK as well as an app on my phone... I'm a little type A. :-) I O'd last week, so I'm planning on testing just in time for father's day. I figure that would be the best day to tell my husband that he will be a daddy!
Just hoping for a BFP! Baby Dust to everyone!

Hi All! My DH and I are on month 4 of TTC. I started BBT this month and I think I timed BD pretty well this month. I also started taking baby asprin and calcium suppliments along with my prenatal vitamins. My best friend is due in 12 days and I would love to get BFP before fathers day.

Hey ladies, my husband and I would love to add another bub to our family. A boy would be a nice change after two girls :) although we would be over the moon whether boy or girl. We haven't been full on ttc but we haven't been preventing since I stopped breastfeeding. Its been over 8weeks since stopping now and still no period. Had two days of spotting so just maybe it could have been implantation bleeding. I'm going to purchase a test this week. Quietly hoping its positive :) Goodluck to all ttc!!!

Tasia1993 I track with the app called My Days. You can track your menstrual cycle. It will show your likely ovulation days, tell you what cycle day you are on and so forth. Best of all on an android it is a free app. There are lots of apps like it but that is the one I like the most. Good luck

I know how you feel. One of my best friends just had a baby 3 days ago but they live out of province, so I won't get to see them much to get a baby fix once in a while. All my other friends are expecting anywhere from Aug to Dec. I just want to be pregnant too!

Just to check in, its officially been 5 months of actively ttc #1. I have been taking prenatal vitamins, we both stopped drinking, he stopped smoking (i don't smoke), been eating healthier, and exercising regularly yet still nothing?! Is there any more advice anyone can give me?? We both read what to expect before you're expecting and it didn't give us.more info than we already have :-/

We're hoping to conceive in August.
I started my prenatal vitamins and stopped my birth control (Seasonique) on May 13th (Mother's Day).
Since we want to conceive in August so that our delivery will be around May of next year, we aren't actively trying yet.
I'm nervous that I won't be able to conceive in August, and our "window" will close quickly since we don't want the delivery to interfere with my work as a teacher.

So, we've been not preventing since January. Still no BFP. It took a while with each of my first two. We've already got a boy and a girl so I think most of our family and friends believe we're done. Especially since both of my children's deliveries were fairly exciting. I had an emergency c-section with my son and a V-bac with my daughter followed by severe hemorrhage. Anyway, good luck to everyone and here's hoping for some BFPs soon!

Just throwing it out to the internet here, we're trying for our first! We've been ttc for 5 months, no luck so far. :( The next few days should be our best bet. If it doesn't happen this month, I'm going to start charting.

lillysmom1025...so happy to hear about your BFP! We are trying and were hoping to make the due date for the end of 2012 but at this point we will be in 2013. We've only been trying since last month. I had a 4 day late which only ever happened 2 other times...with my pregnancies. I was a bit let down but no point in getting caught up in it. Needless to say, I REALLY hope this month is the good one!!

Thanks, this is our third month of getting a negative and everytime I tell him no it kills me, is there some way I can let him down easily? The best I can figure out rite now is to say we can just keep trying, but it's not seeming to make things any better

Tasia1993, These things sometimes take a while. It's great to hear how much your bf is looking forward to becoming a daddy. There aren't many men out there who let that tender side show. Hoping you the best of luck next month!

The bf and I r ttc for our first and I have recently realized just how heartbreak it is to get a negative, I didn't think it mattered that much to him hut he actually cried when I told him I'm not... I really hope it works out soon...

every OPK is different but it's usually best to test around 10am, not with first morning urine. LH is synthesized in our bodies overnight so you could be getting some false positives. Test at a consistent time after 10am.
A positive shouldn't be lasting that long. If you don't get better results testing at/after 10am then try a different test. I got mine here: http://www.early-pregnancy-tests.c om/pregnancytests.html?gclid=C I31-qyVh68CFYcUKgodhQQT8w

We've finally started to TTC this month! We've been waiting to get things underway since July of last year. Just had to deal with some things and get our lives ready for #3. Hope it doesn't take too long. With my first 2 I was pregnant after the first month of trying. Now I'm almost 10 years older than when we had our first and I'm curious to see if it takes longer this time round. Hoping for a girl but I'll be delighted either way!!

Maybe early mc maybe weird af...not sure. 8dpo spotted very light pink then it turned into full on bleeding totaled about 12 days. I always get my af on cd29 and it only lasts 4-5 days with a day of spotting before...disappointing bfn to confirm today

Well this was my first cycle after having it removed on January 10. The OB said my cycle should return to how it was right away. My first AF came right on schedule, but was shorter than I expected, lasting only 2-3 days. Now this one started so slow with the spotting. We'll see how long it lasts. The doc also said most of her post-Mirena patients conceive in about 3 months. We shall see!

Well it crossed my mind that it could be implantation bleeding, but today's flow is much heavier so I'm sure. I'm happy though - I was kind of worried that if my flow was so light maybe my uterine lining wasn't building up enough, etc.
