I was just on BCP and it mucked up my system. Last time I went off it, my cycles kept on normally right away, so I wasn't prepared for this. I had my hormone levels checked ASAP because I only have a small window to conceive each year. I had a couple of days of light spotting and AF eventually came back. I can't wait to TTC!

Hope you get the news you're looking for soon Messyhair and Astick. What method of BC were you on? I'm just over a year off depo and still no AF for me. It's meant to come back within a year but no show so I've been getting tests done and waiting for results :S

Cycle day 75, and I have some pinkish tinged CM. Perhaps the start of AF, but that usually starts off brownish for me. I didn't experience implantation bleeding/spotting with my first pregnancy, so I'm not 100% sure what to look for. Is there anything else this could be? Maybe caused by the hormone imbalance I'm having?

My hormones are messed up, but my doc plans to do nothing for the rest of this year. Oh hurray.

I'm getting nervous waiting for the results! I've been craving a lot of salt lately and I've been bloated like crazy (related to the salt, no doubt) but I don't think it's pregnancy. I don't want to get my hopes up.
In the meantime, we're in the process of buying a house, so the stress of that could be screwing up my cycles.

Day 48...
Went to the doctor yesterday and got some bloodwork done to test various girly hormones, including hCG. I won't have the results until next week. :(
Once we have the results, we'll decide how to proceed.

so I caved and did a test on Friday night (negative)... then another one on Wednesday morning (also negative)... And then today, bam, AF arrived. I am exactly one week off schedule... here's hoping that I can track correctly next month... and good luck to all of you ladies :)

grrr... this is the first month in about 11 years (both on and off the pill) that my period has not come as scheduled on Wednesday afternoon between 12-3pm... Don't want to test yet... last time I tested the day I missed my AF and got a BFP, then a m/c 4 days later... I would rather wait a while... but if AF isn't here by Sunday morning I will POAS...

I'm on day 38 right now with no BFP and no sign of AF in sight. It's frustrating and I haven't had a long cycle like this before. My first cycle off BC is always longer than normal but the longest it's been is 33 days. We aren't TTC right now, but I'd be perfectly happy if I got a BFP any time soon.

Going off BCP is frustrating!!! My first cycle off was completely normal (28 days) the next one after that was only 21 days and now I'm waiting... if I get AF tomorrow I will be ecstatic cuz that means I have been counting and temping correctly... If you need help charting to get through the next few months go to My Monthly Cycles online... just google it and the site will come up. You can chart your first couple of months and then it will calculate an average of your prime ovulation days, LPH, etc.

It varies with everyone on how long it takes for your cycles to regulate themselves after birth control. I personally was on it over 11 years my first 2 cycles were 28 days and the 3rd cycle off the pill lasted 39 days. If you are concerned though speak with your dr they will be much more help and might give you a pregnancy blood test.
