I think it depends on the person. I would say to ask your doctor that question to be sure. I was told to wait to TTC until after my next AF but I didn't listen and I told them I wasn't going to listen. They said it was just a recommendation that they had to say to me, for whatever reason. I was physically and emotionally ready to try again. I got pg right away again so I'm glad I didn't wait.

I'm sorry that you even have to be here with this question, or that we have the answer. Have you been to the miscarriage support boards? I think you'll find lots of support and understanding over there as well. I hope your heart is able to heal soon.

I was given the O.K. for sex after bleeding stopped too. The dr wasn't concerned at all about infection or anything. I only bled for like 5 days, and it wasn't that heavy.

I'm sorry to hear about your loss!

My dr. said sex ok after I stopped bleeding after my m/c. That lasted about 2 weeks for me. I was told to wait for 2 normal cycles to start ttc again but I know that some women are given the okay to ttc immediately so I would check with your dr on that one.
